i know i am not supposed to request here.
!!!!
but is anyone interested in editing character roster screen for SD-X game?
i'm pretty sure there are lots of Gundam fans out there who has no screenpack for their characters.
And SD-X's screenpack only feautures a good title screen - no more than that, the rest stayed as classic mugen .
If noone interested, please provide me with information how to do so by myself. All the credits guaranteed if good tips provided, if it's required screenpack will be available for everybody.
Ill be waiting for your hel. thank you in advance.

Read the MUGEN docs.

... ok first of all I doubt anyone will help you with actually doing the editing for you. But what exactly do you want in the select screen? Like I said check the docs to learn the basic or just find another screenpack with a select screen you like that is opensource to simply edit the pictures. Or just to "see how the other guy did it" (you don't need permission for that, in fact that's the whole idea of mugen).

heres what i have

-changed background
-disabled animation(including title screen animation
-included sound from Gundam SD
-centered image
also found all the chars from this game(it had none ;note they are not on the image their portraits are corrupted)

You HAVE to use pcx and not bmp. You've obviously done something wrong. Did you apply a palette to your pcx file ?
The BG image doesn't seem very centered to me.

Well, I never did that in FF, I don't know if it's possible, even though I guess it is.
I always apply my palette to the pcx BEFORE inserting it to the sff, using photoshop (alternatively, you can use The Gimp, since it's free).
There should be several tutorials on the site about applying a palette to an image.

I guess this means you've succeeded in applying a palette to a pcx ?
Concerning the cursor, you'll have to create one yourself with a graphical program, so that it fits your needs.

I've seen people releasing fonts in the edits secion (under the misc tag) do a searhc in that section for "fonts" (d'oh!). Ar get some fonts from an opensource screenpack. :P

To make your own fonts you can either rip`them from a scpecific game or make them yourself with Photoshop or Gimp. Basically you'll have to type all teh characters save them as an image and then specify the width/height of all the fonts.... again look for tutorials (there was one on XGargoyle's website IIRC).

"hopefully i'm not bugging too much"
but i can't figure out why i see only half of them?
where is fonts placement description?
i've tried modifying nearly everything, but all i can get is either half or nothing on title screen.
