SD-X REMASTERED

I decided to remake SD-X game that was made by masquer...And eventually decided to make my own game under same logo.
What will be included
- only sd characters
-only sd stages
- gundam war lifebars (if jed/taurusac don't mind)
-sd-x remastered screenpack

Every char is needed to be redone (but they are playable nonetheless).
also i want to include Hyuga's chars and Classic Z Gundam.
At the moment i'm working on this project alone , feel free to join in.
Also i do not have a website, so i will post all the updates here.

ill upload screenpack as soon as ill make at least one good looking/working char and same with at least one stage.

these is how characters should/will look


size will be about same as  regular gundam (ill have to resize sprites)

since there are not any sprites for "WALKING" in SRW

i will base every character on glide/ fly.

main battle function is shooting( i'm going to need some cool sounds BTW)

as for punching/ cutting - i will do that myself by cutting single sprite in pieces and re-asambeling him

NOW
as for stages
i need sky stages
machinnery stages
lava stages
forest stages
and basically MEGAMAN ALIKE

Are you ripping yourself from Super Robot Taisen.
What gameplay do you want to give to your chars ? Same as Hyuga (which I like) ? You'll have to remake Hyuga's chars too, since they don't have HR sprites.

yeh Hyuga is my favourite too :)
and thats the style i'm moving into
EXEPT
sprites will be much bigger as big as regular chars.
unless it will look too stupid (i don't think it will tho)
Sprites that i'm using right now aren't mine but i am allowed to use them
when ill be done with those ill move on to ripping them myself

sprite cutting finished
so far 10 pcx files
need to find lazer effects and flying effects
also assemble some parts (so far it was not successful because of transperncy issues)
ill continue after work...duh ill have to brake my back for 5 days!!!! i think itll take some time then.
Please if you have anything helpful from effects/sprites or even suggestion - do write it here i will read and use it when i can.

just found kick ass lifebars for the game!!!
but no idea how to extract that EXE file (tried every programm including UniArchiver)
I could snap-shot it but what to do next?
Need help please!

what do you mean there are never exe files in lifebars

  • +1 to whoever added Godzilla to the main index.
The screenpack seems like it should actually mimic a trading-figure machine.
i think we should call it an "engine" so we don't look like total idiots because otherwise we'd be arguing about a "game" and that would be somehow "dumber" than arguing about an "engine" on the "internet" for countless hours
