This thread isn't really about the screenpack's development.  In fact, the screenpack itself is already done.

While I'm working on the lifebars, I figured I'd check to see if anyone who might have an interest in using the screenpack would want some different categories.   

Here is the list right now:


CvS, KoF, LB, MotW, SF, MvC, WW7, GG, Original, and Others, so 10 categories. 

I've already made Samurai Showdown (SamSho), Evil, and M.K. as alternate labels.  So if anyone wants something else, just let me know. 

Just remember, I'm not looking for a "list of fighting games" really. 
I'm just asking anyone who thinks they might use the screenpack what categories they would want to see. 

Oh, and this screenpack is intended for use with WinMugen Plus.

Done as V.S., D.S., and since I thought "V.S." was a bit too close to the "Versus series" I added Vamp, and Vamp. S.

I made Nintendo as "Ninty" and I think that should cover it well enough.

I found the label kinda odd, so I made a Toon one instead.

Sure for the LOL one.  I'll include a "lulz" one also just... well for the lulz. 

Warusaki3 I kinda feel is mostly covered by the CvS category, but sure I'll make that one too.

you seem to be getting lots of love on this one Tamez  ;)
maybe a hidden section? for characters that are obscure or something (it would have to not show on screen and it could be at the very bottom or something)

Here are my ideas:

Capcom
DECO (Data East Corporation. Includes the Fighter's History series and other Data East games.)
Irem
Konami (Includes Hudson Soft, which is currently a subsidiary of Konami.)
NamBan (Includes characters from games and other stuff by Namco and Bandai.)
NinHAL (Includes characters from games by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory.)
SegaSam (Includes characters from games by Sega and Sammy.)
S.E.T. (Square, Enix and Taito)
SNKP (Includes ADK, which is now in the hands of SNK Playmore.)
Sunsoft (Includes Galaxy Fight, Waku Waku 7 and other Sunsoft games.)
AniCar (Anime/Manga and Cartoon/Comic characters.)
Other (Includes originals like Kung-Fu Man and Dragon Claw, edits like Himan Zellode and Mega Weapon, real-life characters like Shaq and Bruce Lee, characters from games by other game companies like Jaleco and Tecmo, Internet memes like Shoop Da Whoop and Spooo and so on.)

Hope this helps.
My Mugen Wish List would include protagonists, mascots and other iconic characters with everything they have brought straight from their source with little or no editing.

Nah, I don't think I'll end up doing that. 
I just feel that one point of a category select is labeling stuff.  If you can't see the label, there's not much point to it. 

If someone wants to hide characters, they can put hidden slots on my 262 slot box variation of the SP.

Some of these ideas are either too broad or too specific for me to feel like giving them categories.
