The gameplay will act like this,

3 level Supers are intact
Capcom and Sega will have a choice between two grooves -- Alpha Counters or Strength Meter (NEW; similar to Last Blade 2)
With the Strength meter, there will be knock aways like SF4
Tags, 2 on 2 Simultaneous battles, or a 3 to 4 man (or ladies) team battle
Juggles (Courtsey of the Virtua Fighters cast)
Tag Team supers like NGBC (For example Ryu and Axel has one, also Ryu and Akira. Axel and Kyle Travers as well) (Note: only a few characters with pair match will have it; Sonic and Mega Man for example)
Wide open roster (42 characters). (I might change the roster, some of the roster will stay the same, and some will change depending on what I am looking at)
I need some extra men for the help.

I already sprites Tyris, Axel, and Electra. Next is Tyris basics, Axel's basics, and then Joe Musashi (Shinobi)

Here is WIP plans I am doing for the three I finished,

CvS (Capcom cell shaded) Tyris Flare (Golden Axe) for Mugen WIP

What is done -

Static Standing Sprite
A few alt colors

What is needed to be done

-Stance Animation (Tyris will use her ancestor's Golden Axe the duel's animation)

  -Jump Kick (a few new except for that she will make use of her running kick move to be a jump kick)
   -Crouching Kick Animations will be new as well.
-Throwing or Grab Animations (A few from her Golden Axe series with new animations)
-Special Normal Animations (There will be several moves she still obtains)
-Super Combo or Final Supers Animations will be new as I list them
-Running Animations (Tyris old Golden Axe running animations)
-Full Jump Animations using her Golden Axe or Milan Flare's Golden Axe: The Duel jumping animations
-New Falling or stunned Sprites from her Golden Axe and Golden Axe 2 animations
-Shock Fall or stunned animations

Extra: Midnight Bliss sprites against any Mugen Demitri

(Tyris will have a mix of her old stuff and Milan Flare's attacks. It will be hard to figure out which parts of Milan Flare will be used as some of her moves are weirdly programmed)

Gameplay Plans

Tyris will play unorthodox. She will feel more like the same feel you get when playing or using a Samurai Showdown character. Her magic attacks are used as supers.

These are the list of Tyris Flare's moves she will be stapled with when worked on

Special Normals
-Low Shin Stamp Kick (New Animation) - f + WP
-Stab Hop (Her Golden Axe overhead attack) in air db, d, or df + MP
-Dragon Tail Kick (New Animation) - in air f + SK

Throws and Grabs
-Scum Smasher (Her old Golden Axe combo mid end) - near opponent f or b + SP
-Amazon Carry (Her combo finisher) - near opponent f or b + SK (This is Tyris throw after she finishes a combo)
-Flying Amazon Carry - in air, f or b + SK

Special Attacks
-Amazon Crescent (This will use the same animation as Axel's Sword Slash weapon move from SOR3/BK3, but better) QCF + P
-Backstab Savage (Tyris back attack from the Golden Axe series) - QCB + P (Tyris does a casual 360 turn while swinging her sword, then performs a one inch stab like attack just like her old Golden Axe back attack)
-Crescent Ascend (This will use the same animation as Axel's Sword Upper weapon move from SOR3/BK3, but better) f, d, df + P
-Here Comes the Amazon (New Running Attack) - Ch b, then f + P (Tyris runs at the opponent and tackles the opponent while stabbing)
-Jungle Flip Wheel (This is Tyris Flare's move from Golden Axe 2 Genesis move) f, d, df + K
-Beast Rider (Chicken Leg or Dragon from Golden Axe series) f, HCF + K
 -(Chicken Legs) Chicken Leg Tail Whip - during Beast Rider, QCF + K
 -(Chicken Legs) Head Tackle - during Beast Rider, Ch b, then f + P
 -(Chicken Legs) Loud Crow - during Beast Rider, f, d, df + P
 -(Dragon) Dragon Fireball - during Beast Rider, QCF + P

(Most of Axel's sprites from SOR and SOR3/BK3 are intact, thanks to two rippers [insert name here]

Gameplay Plans

Axel will play like SOR3/BK3

-Blitz Combos like (WP, WP, MP, MK) or (SP, SP, f + MP, SK)
-Rushing Combos like (dashing then, WP, WP, MP, grab opponent for a throw of any kind)
Axel will also gain new combos as well
He will obtain his moves from the SOR series.
Axel will not have assist from either Blaze Fielding, Skate, Max, Dr. Zan, or Roo. So, that is out of the water, continue to float.

These are the list of Axel Stone's moves he will be stapled with when worked on.

 -Striking Swing - while using the pipe or baseball bat, QCF + P
 -Sword Upper - while using the sword, f, d, df + P

Super Combos and Final Supers
-Dragon Smash (Axel's SOR2 and SOR3/BK3 Special Attack) QCF, QCF + P (Axel runs at his opponent to and delivers several punches into a Final Bare Knuckle)
-Last Bare Knuckle (Axel's SOR3/BK3 Triple Star Attack) QCB, HCF + P (Axel does what it seems to be a Dragon Wing Fist, but instead does a super powered Bare Knuckle)
-Blitz Freak (Axel preforms his SOR2 and SOR3/BK3 bug blitz attack) QCF, QCF + SP+SK (Axel does a repeated WP, WP, WP, WP, WP, WP, WP, WP and does a MP. Axel then combines it with his Low Hook Punch, then a Knee Crush grab into his Head Smash command grab, then finally finish this move with the Dragon Smash finish; The Final Bare Knuckle)

Electra,

CvS (Capcom cell shaded) Electra (SOR series) for Mugen WIP

What is done -

Static Standing Sprite

What is needed to be done
(Hahaha! A whole lot of new animations)

-Stance Animation (New Animation)
-Walking Animation (SOR3/BK3 walking animations)
-Crouching Animation (New Animation)

  -Jump Punch (New Animation) Electra has to use a new animation with the 3 air jump attacks

  -Jump Kick (The only jump kick animation out of the 3 that is not new will be her SOR2 jump kick attack)

-Her Dizzy Animation will have her standing on all her fours on the ground for a while; this is planned as a Special Attack Move
Electra will gain new combos
Electra will be a mix of most of her three SOR series attacks with several new sprites
Electra will have an assist specials from Big Ben, Silver (Gunman from SOR3/BK3), and Wings (Biker from SOR2 and SOR3/BK3)

These are the list of Electra's moves she will be stapled with when worked on

Special Normals
-Low Knee (New Animation) - f + MK
-Ruby Flip (New Animation) - df + SK
-Head Stomp (New Animation) - in air db, d, or df + MK

Throws and Grabs
-Whip Strangle (New Animation) - f or b + SP
-Reverse Whip Strangle (New Animation) - f or b + SK

Special Attacks
-Electric Cord Stretch (Her SOR2 and SOR3/BK3 attack) - Ch b, then f + P
-Electra Escapes (New Animation) Ch d, then u + P (Electra performs KOF's Whip's old anti-air/overhead move from KOF 99 and KOF 2000)
-Playgirl Torture (New Animation) - HCF + P (Electra will wrap her whip around her opponent and throw them to the ground. While they are down, Electra starts to stamp on them; Nina Williams style. The SP version has her electrocute her downed opponent)
-Wild Whips of Slaughter (New Animation) - f + P six times (Electra starts going bezerk with her whip as she slashes her whip multipule times)

Super Combos and Final Supers
-Stronger Electric Cord Stretch (Her SOR2 and SOR3/BK3 attack) - Ch b, then f, b, and f + P (Electra does a stronger Electric Cord Stretch. The super acts like Benimaru's Super Lightning Fist)
-Electra's Playgirl Punish (New Animation) - near opponent, spin the D-Pad or Joystick in a 360 degree angle, then P (Electra gets on the opponents head (Like Shermie does) and then performs her Electra Escape Special while her legs are clamped on her opponent. She starts to twist her opponents neck several times, then she kicks them off her)
-Dominatrix (New Animation) - QCB, QCB + SP+SK (Electra grabs another whip and whips the opponents ands as if they were handcuffed, then she ties up the whip to the top wall and then changes in a dominatrix clothing. While in this super, Electra starts to perform her Wild Whips of Slaughter special. After this, she preforms her Stronger Electric Cord Stretch while laughing in a sick way. The opponent is dizzied after this) (This move can not connect into another super since it takes 3 lvls to perform it, so be lucky she is not going to be cheap)
-Scorned Woman (New Animation) - while dizzied, f, HCF + SP+SK (Electra will come out of her dizzy, but will do a low blow and wraps her whip around the opponents legs. Electra will begin to do low kicks while she says, "Want to hit a woman while she is down, asshole." Electra then ends the move with a ground slashing Electric Cord)

Here is the sprites I made for Axel, Tyris, and Electra. There are only two palettes as to I am saving the others a secret,







Anyone want to take a crack and help me out on this project. I am already doing Tyris and Axel and recoloring Ryu's CvS into his SF3 art color. Thanks

Though I do like those sprites up there. They look slick! And the fact that you're doing the special animations (Shock, Burned, Midnight Bliss) just makes it even better! Though I'm hoping for a more varied cast from Sega (I don't know that many people from Sega, but hopefully there's more that's not just from Virtua Fighter than I'm seeing). Interested in seeing who else from Capcom you'll be putting in though ^^

Though I do like those sprites up there. They look slick! And the fact that you're doing the special animations (Shock, Burned, Midnight Bliss) just makes it even better! I changed the roster. There is only going to be about 5 people from Virtua Fighter. Street Fighter is the same limit. The rest is good as gravy.

If you want Knuckles and Bass to duke it out, that will be a plan. I shortened the roster. I will post it in a minute as soon as I view some of Axel's sprites from the Beta Bare Knuckle 2.

-Eternal Champion: Not necessarily. I've got him on my Mugen as an order=10 Final Boss Character. VERY difficult to beat. You wouldn't need the rest of the cast.

-Hyo/Demon Hyo, Daigo/Wild Daigo: How about having the alter ego either be a Transformation/Special Move or make the alter ego a pallete choice?

-Abyss: Onslaught X (Xslaught) made a the best one I've ever seen...better than the original! Very difficult to beat. Would make a great boss!

-Bionic Commando: COMPLETELY different from Captain Commando...besides, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 had 2 Captains (3 if you count Guile). Why not Bionic Commando?

-Leo: Yeah, you're right. Dante would be better, but would you have Vergil as a "helper" or a separate character?

-Rent-A-Hero: Most people probably have never heard of him. I did some research, and I can't even find an English version of the game. I played the game for a couple minutes, and it's terrible! I think Sketch Turner would be a good replacement.

-Eternal Champion: Not necessarily. I've got him on my Mugen as an order=10 Final Boss Character. VERY difficult to beat. You wouldn't need the rest of the cast.

-Hyo/Demon Hyo, Daigo/Wild Daigo: How about having the alter ego either be a Transformation/Special Move or make the alter ego a pallete choice?

-Abyss: Onslaught X (Xslaught) made a the best one I've ever seen...better than the original! Very difficult to beat. Would make a great boss!

-Bionic Commando: COMPLETELY different from Captain Commando...besides, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 had 2 Captains (3 if you count Guile). Why not Bionic Commando?

-Leo: Yeah, you're right. Dante would be better, but would you have Vergil as a "helper" or a separate character?

-Rent-A-Hero: Most people probably have never heard of him. I did some research, and I can't even find an English version of the game. I played the game for a couple minutes, and it's terrible! I think Sketch Turner would be a good replacement.

Not that the game is in Japanese. I did play Rent A Hero. It was an old game. But, play Fighters Megamix and unlock him. He was fun for me to use. Besides, Capcom does have Captain Commando and he is fun as well. Imagine both these guys eyeing each other. They would be pissed. Besides, Rent A Hero has good moves from Fighters Megamix, I do not want to get rid of my base for his stance.

I got Akuma/Gouki in as a hidden, and Dural from Virtual Fighter. Now, Mahler, everyone remembers that roid raging nutbag. He fits as a boss character. Haggar would be in against Shiva, since Haggar would ask him about Mr. X and try to run their city and clean up the streets with Kyle Travers.

No. Dante and Soki has a transformation super. So, Dante do not need Vergil's help at all. Dante's commands are going to be similar to Genjuro; ie QCF - f, d, df - QCB - etc style motions.

Bionic, which one BTW? The Arcade or NES version.

I am thinking of making more Rival Schools characters soon. I had to ditch Akira because I wanted to wait til I add Virtual Fighters or Fighters Megamix characters next time.

Well, the reason why that is a big roster; 36 is because we all have sprites for Chun Li, Ryu, Jill, Captain Com, and Mega Man. All we need to do is reshade some of them; little fixes and as for Ryu, I am going to do his hair style like his NamcoxCapcom and official arts from TvC and SF3 series. I like Ryu with black hair better.

Eternal Champion would be added later on, yes. But, I was saving him for a Eternal Champions Returns full game in the same shade. I might use NamcoxCapcom shading for that, but it all depends. (Future project)

There are a lot of cool rivalries going on in the roster, but I think you're aiming too high with this game.  Focus on doing Axel, then another Sega char, then another, and if/when you have enough of them then consider a full game.

I am not using Cyclops as a base. That's used up. I rather get the sprite and make an original stance for Bionic Commando. And yes, there was a arcade version.

I am putting Max on the next one.

Edit: Look, I know you want Bionic in there so badly, but I am putting Captain in there against Rent A Hero. He is good choice and I am going to redo all of Rent A Hero's moves.

But for right now, I am working on my favorites. Tyris first. I need to draw another wire frame for her Jump and Up Slash.

I got two sprites done on Tyris basics. Part of her jump and part of her swing. The long width is because it's a PNG and I am using it to add more to make sprite clips for someone to animate.

So much possiblities with Tyris Flare. ^_^

Don't forget. Also Megaman as well. If I delete Sonic, it's getting rid of Mega Man and Alex Kidd also with Ryu. Remember, Ryu and Sonic will have an intro. Sakura taunting Tails, and Ken begging Knuckles to come at him, and Amy running.

Took off Sarah and Jacky Bryant for the blonde girl from Last Bronx and Bahn from Fighting Vipers, since I have their official arts.
