Have you had any problem with the bottoms of the stages showing during Supers?  Anytime I perform a super it happens.   I did have to drop my resolution to get it to play (1280x800)  Would that have any bearing on the issue?

Yes, that would hurt the fidelity of the stages, but I don't see why 1280 by 720 would work for you. Have you tried that or 800x600 that definition you applied isn't a standard one



That fixed it!  1280x720 was exactly what it needed.  Thanks!

Just sat for an hour or so with the game.  LOVE IT!  The intro, the feel.  It all feels vintage but modern at the same time.  Great release!  I'm gonna be spending a lot of time with this game.

I'm working on a personal full game.

Before each fight, I've coded the characters to speak to one another using text and portraits, somewhat similar to SVC:Chaos.

I'm using 1280x720 resolution Mugen 1.1

The problem that I am having is, I'm assuming my characters are 320x240 localcoord, because when I input the different animations and storyboard into the character, they appear seriously zoomed in.  However, if I render the animations and storyboards at 320x240, they show up correctly, but they are just horribly pixelated for my liking due to the small size.  Is it possible to have these scenes show up at 1280x720?  Would I have to make character modifications?   Is it possible to local coord individual sprites within the character?

If I didn't explain it well, I'll try my best to elaborate.

I was actually able to figure it out using explodes.

Sorry for necro bumping, but this seems to be a problem I'm having with nearly every character in my roster.

First, I really enjoy the stage, however, with characters that throw fireballs, if I'm extreme left or right on the stage, they will not throw the projectile.  They perform the move, etc, but no projectile comes out.  Has then been addressed?

I've been working on a few characters and I'm having a bit of an issue with one thing. 

Anytime a character jumps, then lands, the dust that's kicked up does not follow him, it's always at the center of the stage.  Basically, say I walk to the far right edge of the screen and jump.  When I land, the effect (dust, etc.) always pops up in the middle of the screen.   Can anyone help me out with this?

Edit:  It seems as though the same thing happens with hyper move explod.  It always appears in the middle of the screen.

Edit 2:  Okay, I've narrowed it down to something.  Whenever I set a character (and save sff) as 1.1, this happens.  Anything else other than 1.1 and it works fine.  I'm probably just making some sort of noob mistake.

Thanks, much appreciated.  I also realized after checking the templates that I left out the color gradient overlay as well.  I'll be sure to keep that in mind on the next ones.

The AI is kicking my butt!  I'm sure I'll do better after spending some more time with the game.
The phantom step is probably one of my favorite mechanics in this game, that and the quick run through.  The forced cool down is a pretty good idea though.  My brother would run completely across the screen constantly, and it was annoying.  Now, it's not so bad.  Can't wait to see what the future has in store!  Good luck!

Jesuszilla is a mugen creator.  His character's Grooves don't work, but every other creator's grooves do work.  It's odd.

I'm not planning on using or ripping screenpack outside of full game, I was just throwing a few characters in to test some stuff out.  No worries, I really enjoy the speed and movement of the characters in your game.  Been having a blast playing it.

On the main menu, when you highlight training, it says: "Hone your fighting skills by setting up a battle against a dumy."  Spell it "Dummy."

Preface:  I love the Beta so far, the screenpack is beautiful, but...

Probably stupid feedback mixed with a stupid question:  I was messing around, just throwing some characters into the roster and realize that none of Jesuszilla's CVS2 characters work correctly with this SP.  You can't choose the grooves for any of them.  Checked in Mugen 1.0 and Vanilla 1.1 and they work.  They do work in the Lite Version, however.  Could an SP really cause that to happen?

Also...jeez, sorry for nitpicking, the word "Dummy" is misspelled when reading the Training explanation.

I'm having the same issue with the exact same characters (Jesuszilla) characters.  I haven't had any issues converting anything over to 1.1 except these.  Have you found a fix yet, like where to put the 5900 code? 

EDIT:  I ended up pasting the 5900 code at the bottom of the first .cns file, then searched for "Turns Mode Intro"

I just removed the code.  Should look something like this.
