A lot of the old outdated stuff needs to be replaced more by better works, so there's still plenty of breathing room.

I think part of the thinking that there's less being released is because more and more AI patches are starting to crowd mugen news sites and whatnot. It's annoying finding the half of a thread's page being nothing but "AI patch for so and so character"

Don't get too excited folks, this is easy as hell to do. You can for example easily delete the string in there.

Mind you it's also considered really damn rude to remove someone's copyright information like that but what does that matter?

Quote
they were made in PI fyi.

Did I REALLY need to say "CvS styled"? I thought that much was obvious. Guess not.

Regardless of origin, it still looks out of place.

Kinda odd to say but I think it should keep the color limit...KOF style sprites almost lose that feel they have when the color count goes over 16.

Also if you need help I can be reached through MSN or through other people.

I do see the RPGMaker complaint definitely thought, I hate how much the font sticks out (shallow I know but eh when you're going to see it every five seconds...)

Does the image show up for you? If so it's possible it's a DNS error on your end.

I actually followed the storyline translations as posted on a wikia for the mobile version, it just kinda felt depressing for me. I guess I'm more of the mind that such a storyline is better left up to the reader to decide where it goes after, and these expanded story parts kill the luster a little (something like what if FF6 had a sequel where it blatantly says Shadow was Relm's father or who the hell Gogo is etc).

It's just a personal opinion, I like open ended happy endings to stay that way.

Semi-related, but I wish the remake of SaGa one had come out in this fashion for download in english. Only versions available are sadly the Wonderswan and mobile phones. :\

On topic though, I'm not sure I'm all that wild about Square's restomping of old grounds with these games. Did FF4 really need a sequel? The game ended on an excellent note, and everything I read about the events of this game make it feel like Advent Children did (Actually worse than AC, since that did handle a few of the side characters nicely).

Reminds me of the "Goddess Justice" fiasco awhile back.

Yeah, saw it in action and promptly deleted. Like many mugen characters of this sort, it's broken and has the "regain full life and spam attack" crap.

It's a shame though, some of the animations would be nice in the other Shanghai Doll, but in the end those are just cosmetics.

And yet, I still don't want to. I'm not changing the sparks even with this permission, so please stop beating the dead horse. I happen to like how they turned out after this much time.

Well, couldn't hurt. I was taking a few liberties with him vs pure KOF style though just to warn you (i.e. non-counter CD -> supers for example), and setting up his jump cancel to be full jump only. A list could help for the next update when I release King Lion.

Noticed that, seems to be a thing I haven't fully figured out regarding the spark helper handling (and yeah the bike can be hit and destroyed).

I don't like this one as much as the other Shanghai Doll, though the walk anim is awesomely cute XD

There's a way to fix the clock's time actually, requires an input at the opening screen and then a code based on factors like your money and so forth. There are sites out there for it still probably that'll walk you through it.
