Love this stage style, it fits Samurai Shodown chars very well. Hope to see more  :yuno:

I'm editing some Stages do work with the zoom feature of Mugen 1.1 and it seems to work well in every Stage I tried.

But when I tried it with the Stage "Dry River - Evening" by Roque (Fatal Fury / Real Bout Special) it seems it have a mask when I walk in the stage, even having a sprite big enough to show. It gets foccused on a specific distance from the camera.

I tried to compare with other stages and changed some values, but without success.

Does anybody knows how to fix it?

Hey guys! Long time no see.

So, life is getting harder nowadays and I can't get the time I wanted for Mugen. But in my way to work for somedays I tried some Pixel Art on my cellphone (using "Pixel Studio" App), and I kinda liked it.

I released all my large ports literally yesterday in this thread here:

Including the large version on those turtle ports. they are 240x280 and png, so just use them or convert them as you like. In the folder I also included the small ports too. they are .png as well though, so you need to use either mugen 1.1 or convert them to pcx. (fairly certain a reverse image search on the turtles will bring up the source too)

Double good news! So like 5 minutes after I posted this I thought... wait I wonder if I still have the work files for the turtles. and I do! No krang or shredder though. They are forever lost to the recycle bin I'm afraid. leaving the rest of the post as is in case anyone else wants the small ports.

Anywho... Something I,ve been working on for the last little while. A few old school mugen characters added. I also messed with the character count again. A little... crowded, but I like it.





Where can I download those Small Portraits? They look preety good!

Check def-2 of superman.

I have to admit... I didn't get it... Looked in every file of the char and didn't find "def-2".

I don't know if anyone had this problem, but some characters make this fire effect pop on the screen in a loop during all the fight.

here is all 3 helpers for the Nano Cluster Cannons super.

Center helper. This one will be used twice during the super.

Left helper (Tilted to the Right)

And here is the unfinished right helper (Tilted to the Left).

Any help with finishing these would be greatly appreaciated.

That's pretty good!

And about the new version, the antecipation looks great and seems natural... The beam speed still seem slow. And I say that not taking any game as reference, but it is just a matter of fact.

Anyway, keep going. Can't wait to play Iron Man xD

-Reduced hits on all variants to 3, 5 & 7 respectively.
-Reduced the beams speed by 8 ticks.

I still need to reduce the damage but that will come soon.


Now I have to say, it is too slow.

In my opinion, the beam speed don't have to be reduced.

If you wan't to make it less overpower, work on the antecipation. Make Iron Man hold/charge it a little, because there's basically no antecipation in both versions you made. It's a simple animation technique and it's used all the time in Marvel movies.
