Same as it ever was... but, at least there is empirical proof that Superman is better and they did mention that Goku could beat other versions of Superman, but not the original version.

Also... Season 10 finale is the next battle and... OMG YES! They're finally doing it... Galactus vs. Unicron. LFG!!!!

Next time... we get a battle that's tailor made for Halloween - Scooby Doo vs. Courage the Cowardly Dog. I personally think Courage might come out ahead since there's more feats involving him then Scooby.

I've never been a fan of battles where I have very little knowledge of the characters involved. I've only seen a few episodes of Chainsaw Man so far and I haven't even heard of the other series before this. I really hope the previews help here...

Nitara: Her race of vampires hail from Vaeternus, a dark and desolate realm. To survive in this world, they evolved the ability to drink blood. They thrived, building a great society... that has fallen apart. In their shortsightedness, they overfed themselves on the creatures of the realm, disrupting the natural order. General Shao: Born into a proud military family, Shao was expected to become a soldier like his father was... but he was a sickly child with a frail body. All of his brilliance and eagerness would be wasted because of his frail body. His father was furious over this, telling off the young boy's physicians and implementing a harsh training regime that would build his body up. Years later, the training has paid off - Shao is now a towering beast of a man with an iron will. Just as his father promised, Shao became a soldier and would lead Outworld to many victories and much acclaim. Although he is sworn to protect Sindel, his loyalties are to Outworld itself... If she tries anything to harm Outworld, he'll eliminate her.

Sindel: When she ascended to the throne, she feared that she wasn't ready for it yet... adding to the stress was the arranged marriage to Jarrod, a nobleman of Outworld. Forced into this in order to quash a revolt by a rebellious religion, Sindel prayed that he was worthy... and he was. Her ascension to the throne ushered in a new golden era for Outworld and then she gave birth to twins, Mileena and Kitana. Things were looking up for her... that was, until her husband was murdered. With her heart broken, factions are forming in Outworld sensing her weakness. As they conspire against her, Sindel fights to protect her family and her empire and is willing to make sure that her daughters' birthright is defended.

Geras: Reborn at the start of the New Era, Geras remains immortal and unkillable. He retains all the memories of previous timelines. In the New Era, Liu Kang has tasked Geras with guarding the Hourglass to make sure that the New Era runs smoothly. If anything goes off the straight and narrow path, Geras is there to deal with it. With multiple threats rising, Geras has stepped up to the plate... but to insure the New Era stays safe, he needs to figure out who wants to destroy it.

Havik: A citizen of the realm of Seido, Havik has sworn to take down the regime and free the people. In Seido, order is prized above all else. Even the most minor of crimes are dealt with harshly and the citizens live in a caste system. As part of the lowest caste, Havik had no rights or privileges - he seethed in anger at the injustice of it all. When he was harshly punished for a minor crime, he had enough. It is time - time to destroy the regime and free the people so they can all live in a blessed anarchy ridden utopia.

Ashrah: As a demon of the Netherrealm, all Ashrah knew was pain and violence. She assumed that all the beings in the other realms lived in that same manner... but once she left the Netherrealm to visit other realms, she saw the error of her ways - the other places had such beauty and peace that she could no longer aid in the defilement of these places. So, she fled from her sisters. Along the way, she found an enchanted Kriss that was powerful enough to slay her pursuers. She was shocked to see that with each demon killed, her soul was starting to become purified and if she continues to slay demons, she could free herself from the Netherrealm. She senses that her time to reach the light has finally come.

Reptile: Reptile is a Zaterran, one of the reptilian races that live in the outer fringes of Outworld. Like other species, the Zaterrans can camouflage themselves - but Reptile has a mutation: he can shapeshift into a human being. Bullied by his fellow Zaterrans, Reptile left his home to make his future elsewhere.

The first three names make a lot of sense, especially Alisa since she's part of whatever plans Lars has cooked up; Yoshimitsu stills has beef with Bryan and Steve... well, I think they have something for him.

Raven coming back is a surprise. Maybe he had something else going on during Tekken 7. Shaheen still has issues with Kazuya and Zafina might be the series' answer to Rose in Street Fighter: The character who sees the end of the world.

Li Mei: As the firstborn daughter of her family, she was claimed by the Umgadi - the warrior priestesses that protect the royal family of Outworld. Her early success caught the eye of the royal family, but it all fell apart for her when tragedy struck and the Emperor was killed. Blamed for this, she did the unthinkable: she quit the Umgadi. Now friendless and alone, she needed a new purpose in her life and that came in the form of being a Constable for the capital city of Sun Do. She's done well enough to become First Constable and now hopes that she can redeem herself in the future.

Baraka: Once a merchant in Outworld, he contracted the dreaded Tarkat Disease and was turned into a monster that was sent to a colony of fellow sufferers. Once there, he saw a colony in disarray and his fellow sufferers ready to die... that feeling of hopelessness lit a fire in Baraka's heart as he spares no expense to better their lives for as long as he fights, he will never be a victim.

Tanya: Similar to Li Mei, she was the firstborn of her family and claimed by the Umgadi. After seeing many others failed, she feared that she would be like them... but that fear spurred her on to success - she passed the trials and became a full member of the Umgadi. Over time, she became one of the most trusted members in the order and when it came time to name the new leader for the personal guard, she was the obvious choice. Now, as a member of the Umgadi, she is sworn to an oath of piety and chasity... which means if her 'bond' with Mileena was ever known, she would be caught in a scandal. But, by following her heart, she risks not only her position... but her life as well
