Have an intro with him breaking oil drums with a spinning lariat versus Cody and Guy, it'll be easy to add on the other end provided they have the intro with each other

Have him do the spinning lariat for an intro with Zangief and Eagle as well for that matter for the same reason

I'll concur with piledriving random things with a large explosion, that's a quick minimal fuss thing to do that will give a lot of variety

And as always, no matter what you do make sure it feels beefy

You can make that an intro, nothing more intimidating than piledriving a shark in front of your enemy.

An intro would be fantastic. should the shark explode upon landing?

Yeah, like a good explosion to mask the slam, and him saying a good line to his opponent.

Sounds like like a plan!
another intro idea i have for haggar is he could throw a random gang member from off screen finishing them off, the "GO!" symbol appears and haggar comes running in on screen.

As all of you know, Mike Haggar was my first character ever for mugen. however since then i have learned quite a bit and believe he more than deserves an update.


First off, How do i make a walking/Running in intro? Looking to make some accurate(if possible) Final fight style intros.
Also,any ideas On what i could do with this?

A little late response, but it's cool. Thanks.

Also some very minor feedback on the new update because I forgot to post it a few days ago:
-The EX Beads Destructor has the woosh sounds, but not the weak, medium, and heavy versions.
-The Y axis of the character portrait needs to be down one more px since it's doesn't fully fit 120 x 140.

Is there anything i'm supposed to do before patching POTS Styled characters?
EDIT: Reason i'm asking is because using the tag system causes some of characters moves to act funky. an example would be gouki by mrwrly. using his tatsumaki senpukyaku or his gouhadou for the first attack would work fine. using them after that, the hit def just stops working. this happens to light tatsumaki and all variants of gouhadou.

dont edit over patched characters,also bakcup before patching,I don't know about anything else idk.Haggar seems to show a clone in my end
He is most likely missing the animations for add004. Make sure that this is in the animation data
I will most likely be remaking Haggar so expect an update for him somepoint in the future.

Not sure if it's the character or patch for Froz's Vega/M.Bison, but he's just in his normal stance while Rugal's intro is playing. I thought Vega would be in his cape and throws it away after Rugal's intro finishes instead of standing there doing nothing.

My apologies. i forgot to add the modified air file. Fixed and reuploaded

Just one question, will be a patch for did the special intro with Jmorph's Guile? Because it doesn't work for me.

Yes there will be a patch for jmorphmans guile so that the intro may work. i will put it up in just a bit.

In certain cases it can and can't, I dunno how that works... But the half-circles are definitely harder to pull off on this Rugal compared to most other characters in my mugen with half-circle moves.
It's most likely the EXPLODsive Buffering System as it is Different compared to mugens default command system.
Something I forgot to mention feedback wise: It doesn't mention it in the readme so I'm sure it's not intentional, but Rugal Execution can't be sidestepped.
I Forgot to put it in the readme as it is considered a Grab Super. Added info in the readme
Another small suggestion: At the end of Rugal Execution, you could put the animation of Rugal brushing off his suit as a nod/replacement for the hand-swing he did in 98UM?
I never thought about that. but yes. It shall be done. should he brush of his coat once or twice?

The commands on all of his half-circle moves feel extremely tight after you corrected Beads Destructor to the point where it feels almost impossible to execute them
If you want i can make an easy CMD.
and the command file is kind of a mess to navigate through...
Its organized quite well. Its the EXPLODSIVE buffering system that makes it seem difficult to navigate through the CMD.
Also, canceling HP to Reppuken doesn't combo when it should.
It doesn't combo in CVS2.
