I really hate to see icons used only for shortcuts.  ::) I think it's better to release the icon together with the exe.  :D

Btw, I just wanted to ask why I can't install an icon to Winmugen Plus while I installed it with old Winmugen exe?  ???

well, I started creating shar-makai, my first original char, 7 years ago. IUt wasnt a full game idea back then but almost everything I created later was included in the game. SO, you could say it was 7 years.
You're really one of the best Mugen creators ever!!!  :sugoi:

Wow, I really remember the day when you first released Shar-makai. :'(
No one knows you yet at that time. You only have few replies with you're first thread here. I know at the very start that you really had great potential. I have seen how great you had become up to this date and still remained humble. I really have not mistaken with the first impression I had with your first character. I'm very glad that I'm one of the first people here to see your great potential as a Mugen Creator.  :'(

Excellent release!!!  :D

Alexlexus is lucky that BRI is actually caring about this permission stuff. One day, someone else will come along and use Gouken sprites without caring about anything that has to do with permission. They'll give credit, release, and be on their way. Alexlexus can have his fit over this nonsense, but in reality, he's just setting himself for more disappointment in the future.
Problem occurs when you're improving a character that is currently being finished and not yet abondoned. Well, I can see a lot of abandoned chars nowadays that are being updated and you can't see any problem with that since their creators wouldn't care anymore.  ::)

@ Alexlexus:
Your new Gouken sprite is really great! ;)

@ Alexlexus & BRI:
Good luck to the both of you! ;)

I honestly would like to see Alexlexus' new Gouken sprites to BRI's version of Gouken.  ;P  :-\

I just wanted to give some insights...  :-\

It's really unfair for Alexlexus since he's the first one to start the character and the original sprites belongs to him...  :-\

What I would really like to see is Alexlexus teaming up with Bloodriotiori since he already gave permission for the use of his sprites. That way, there will be no more comparison and bad competetion...  :-X

It's just like Super Mario by ShinRyoga & NeOaNkH, now Gouken by Alexlexus & Bloodriotiori...

I hope that both sides would understand and I'm not trying to offend anyone. These are just my insights and I'm not forcing anyone. It's still their decision...  :-\

I recently came back at Mugen and I'm not yet finished compiling chars for my Mugen Plus and now this?  o_O

Why HD? With this Mugen, even Hi res chars looks bad...  :-\

Why not HR with new features?  ::)

Open mugen.cfg in the data folder and change doubleres to 4 (it's a hidden feature). Tell us if it looks better.
I don't know that it's hidden...  :P
*Of course, it'll work.  ;)

I might just shift to Mugen Plus anyway...  ;)

*But I still believe that there's still a solution without shifting to hi-res since all of H's & Gal129's CVS2 chars doesn't have this kind of problem plus Warusaki's CVS2 King...  ::)

Hi, I'm still having second thoughts if I'm going to shift to WinMugen Plus...  :-\
*The biggest downside is combining hi-res and low-res chars & stages.  :-X
*I remember the time when I'm having a hard time deciding if I should shift from DOS to WinMugen...  ;P

*Well, I'll try to shift anyway...  ;)

@Mgbenz:
Hi, musta? ;)

RUDOLF27:
You need hi-res winmugen (Windows Mugen Plus, it is probably the best).
You can get it here:
http://randomselect.piiym.net/
I put a lot of time and effort with my low-res screenpack.  :'(
And I hate combining hi-res and low-res chars & stages. They just don't fit.  :-X
But as much as I wanted to keep my low-res mugen, I would probably try to shift to Mugen Plus...  :-\

I'm just wondering why his CVS King doesn't have this kind of problem even if their k-groove sprites are the same...  :-\

Hi, I don't know if there's something wrong with my Mugen config but I have this problem with player 2's k-groove. There are no vertical lines like with player 1. Am I the only one experiencing this?.. :-\

This character is very good, btw. A balanced version of his original mvc version. I can't wait for more cvs2-styled mvc2 chars!!! :D

It's been a long time since my last post here.  ;D I'm not that updated anymore.  --;

My problem is when using most of Warusaki's & Jesuszilla's CVS2 chars, player 2's K-groove doesn't have any lines...

Pls. help me, thanks! ;)

EDIT:
I'm not using Hi-res Mugen...  :-\

In my opinion, ER/EK's AIs will not be much of a challenge if you remove the exaggerated invincibilities, what made them tough is not the AI, but it's actually the properties of some of their moves
Of course, I want him to be a strong and challenging fighter but not having too exaggerated invincibilities. Maybe, their AI can be lessen but still a boss AI. Allow me to disagree that without a strong AI, their strong moves will not make them an invincible character.

wanna hear a really stupid and unbeatable AI? its of Shadow Dio made by Orochi Herman

I was able to win against E-ken a couple of times but this is the char I've never in my entire god damn life been able to beat.
Its also doin' the same move all over again (just like E-ryu....which is my most fav char btw..lol)

yea E-ryu's my most fav but that doesn't change the fact that it does all the same move over and over again. E-ken was better.

I disagree that Shadow Dio has a stupid ??? and unbeatable AI. He's not even as strong as EK/ER ???. I have defeated him several times and few times with EK/ER. Every character (including all the chars mentioned in this topic, except for Elque), has a pattern and knowing that pattern after several tries, can be an edge for you to defeat them.

Regarding Elque: almost impossible to beat. And it's really unbeatable if you're just gonna use weak to average chars. BTW, I can beat him only when I use D'raven and Amakusa (and maybe Rick from SplatterHouse).

In my opinion, it doesn't really matter what to prefer between midi and mp3. Both has its own advantages and disadvantages: midi has smaller size but lower quality while mp3 has bigger size but higher quality. It's not bad to use them both. But if there's some midi files that sounds like mp3 (with little difference), why not prefer those.
