Oldie but goodie.

Yea, I remember seeing  those back in the day. I'm unsure if the site exists anymore, but they were really interesting. Probably fooled some people, though that should have been a real character modification though. :)

Is Evil Ryu really that popular?

Incredibly popular, And heavily requested as well.

Note, this is the most dynamically unique "Evil Ryu" to date. He shares very little with Ryu;

- Unique model
- Unique movement animations and normals
- Unique specials/supers

And this not technically being Ryu but his expelled physical embodiment of the Satsui No Hadou in him (thus the new name).  Think Piccolo from Dragon Ball.

Good to see you too, Kairi. How is it going? Everything OK?

A couple of SFVers + Dictator monitoring this thread from the shadows.

Absolutely good sir! Got married a few years back, and after looking over this topic you have single handed inspired me to get back into spriting. ;)

Awesome SFVers btw. Outside of one other person, you are the only one I feel who understands and nails the Puzzle/Pocket Fighter style each time. Great work as always.

This is without a doubt "Kuan" (クアン), the apprentice of Joe Higashi mentioned first by Akihiko Ureshino on his blog and then given a name in Maximum Impact: Regulation A. According to Joe's profile in XII, "She is a thief who tries to pickpocket Joe. Impressed with her top class physical strength and her daring, he immediately dubs her his disciple and inspires the girl to live a new life learning Muay Thai". Even has the same pose as Joe Higashi (stance animation from XII)!

This appears to be Rock, looking all nice and dapper. Influenced by Kain after he goes with him in search of information on his mother (confirming his ending to be canon). I am not sure the capacity in which he would have a played a role like this considering his regular attire version of himself was still playable. Makes me think how different this version of him could have played. Perhaps relying on Geese's influence more than Terry's here? Speaking of normal Rock, his sprite was slightly altered.

His arm and head positions are changed.

I would love a sequel Garou. But I also want what was being worked on (Falcoon stated it was 70% completed) to leak in some form. Especially now.

I don't know how complete they are but I remember Tux uploaded some anims years ago on a forum I was. I'm sharing them, just in case they're all the anims from that game, you won't need to rip them, Kairi.

Bunch of anims:
- Blanka:
Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

- Dhalsim:

- Guile:

- E. Honda:

- M. Bison/Balrog:

- Sagat:

- Balrog/Vega:

Beautiful. Thank you for sharing those with us. There are more, so I'll still post the link to the dump, which is here.

Uploading a .ccd dump I just made of the game, now. And It's called Fever 4: Sankyo Koushiki Pachinko Simulation. Info about it here; http://www.c-games.info/games,002,1721.html I think a dump may have been available at some time but I couldn't find a working link in my searching.

Sprites ripped from a Pachinko game for the PSX. There are more, and I am in the process of ripping them all.

Bonus -

Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Zangief are all in the game however their sprites looked to be identical to their Puzzle/Pocket Fighter sprites. E. Honda and Bison's sprites are obstructed by edges in the place where I screen ripped these from. I'm working on getting theirs. As far as I know the game doesn't have a dump online. I had to buy my copy on eBay. I can dump it if anyone wants to have it for the novelty factor, or rip sprites themselves.  Just PM me.

When I was working with NullDC, I just resized the window by trial and error until I got the game screen displaying at its CPS2 resolution (384 x 224). It displayed clearly then.

I kind of remember doing that before to get JoJo rips years ago. Wouldn't be so bad if it didn't crash every time I tried to resize it.

I've never seen that before. Have you stretched the window?

I tried both Full Screen and making it smaller. Still getting that weird effect. Kind of frustrating. I feel like I'm getting old or something.

Attempting to take clean screens with nullDC, however images all come out with this nasty blur/bloom effect and I can't get clean screens with the emulator's internal screenshot (F8) function or the Print Screen trick.

It has been a really long time since I've used this emulator. Any help would be appreciated.

It's just a coincidence. Broly's hair was that shade due to the device being on him, and nothing more. In his very first film it comes off, and his hair is yellow. There's really no debate to that.
