What a fantastic story!
Did anyone ever think the picture was taken maybe even a few HOURS after it happened? He could have been in full get-up and changed - maybe he messed himself a little or something, besides, the paramedics would have had to take a look at him, at the very least.
This is the stuff that needs to make CNN and NBC more often, instead of news of people dying in that damned war.
Finally I don't feel so bad about idolizing Captain America, I mean, yeah I'm getting older and this dude is just a kid, but it inspired him and saved this child, ultimately, what if the kid didn't have a superhero idol?
I knew a guy in High School who fought a Coyote to save his cat, made the front page of the local papers, but the picture was taken a day or two after it happened.

Wow....what a topic for having been started today lol. I used to avarage about once a day, more on weekends - basically whenever my roomate isn't around, or, wasn't....

First: Chill with the CAPS lock, it's the most annoying thing anyone can do, and it certainly won't win you any friends - ever.
Second: Work on the character, ignore the posts, and repost it - better - and you might get a better responce than continuing to post telling people to shut up and threatening them. You're creating a bigger problem by continuing to respond.

I'd recommend deleting this thread until a character of higher standards is produced, otherwise nothing's going to change but more flame. He's got the tools, knows what he needs to do, let's give him the time to do it without this thread in the way.

A) You shouldn't post something on the internet and not expect criticism, no matter what it is. If you feel it isn't great, then don't post it expecting everyone to not throw it in your face a thousand and one times.
B) Know who you're posting to - the Guild. Look at the other threads and see what they've gotten in terms of criticism. If there's something you don't want said about your character, don't post it.
There's just as much an issue here of people blasting him, as there is of him posting it thinking everyone's going to love and cherish it and not criticize it in a way he does not like.
