It's not "that" logic, I said those guys were making money with adfly, not you.
On the other hand, there will still be a lot of people paying for MUGEN, not everyone knows the engine, and sometimes, even though they have already heard about it, they have no idea how it works. Just remember the case in the "Mercado Livre", some people actually bought the game TQH0 that was sold for that scum. Bandits take advantage of any opportunity.

I need to check this out. But judging by the code, it seems to work like the names in team mode. If so, it would be better to have a separate versus by mode, to be able to use different portraits, projects could benefit a lot in that way.


Another similar suggestion. I think it would be great if [WinIcon] were separated by modes, mainly because of a 3x3 or 4x4 simul/tag. It can be complicated to adapt the lifebar design to these modes, otherwise it is not possible to have a good design for them.

Well, the guys don't do the screenpack, stages, lifebars or chars. In fact, a lot of things in those shitty compilations are done by users here on the forum. I don't know how that would be their content.

I see, at the end of the day, it is still monetization with the work of others. It's wrong. There are at least two channels that I can point to, obviously there are more, but then I would be typing names all day and would not go anywhere. MUGEN Player and MUGEN Imperial. They are relevant to the topic, I suppose, since Gui is sharing about people making money from MUGEN, but in this case he even shares videos of these guys.

@gui0007, didn't you notice that those guys do that?

I would like any new character from Rurouni Kenshin, but since Aoshi24 is MIA, this will probably never happen again.
So I think some characters from Inuyasha in POTS style, Miroku and/or Sesshoumaru. All we have is Inuyasha and Kagome made poorly with orange sparks (POTS style they say).

Welcome to the new era, Red. Currently MFG is known for being "elitist" and its members being a "bunch of arrogants". Of course, this coming from youtubers who make shitty compilations and not only get recognition for being the "legitimate creators" but also use adfly-type links to increase their income, and of course, about 10 advertisements per video in addition.
But everything is fine when they put the real authors names in the description, after all the profit they have with the work of others is justified because maybe they exchanged some portraits. We are the wrong ones.

If these were ported to normal mugen, I would use the guard break bar as the power bar most chars dont have guard break. would look dope though. or go EX style having 3 bars under the life bar.
While I'm not a fan of keeping a useless bar, I keep it anyway for 2 reasons:  To be true to the original design and because the characters I use don't have a guard break system, so since the guard will always be at 100% it's okay to have such a bar after all.

I would like to make one more suggestion. I don't know if it has already been suggested, if it has, sorry.
It's about the "counter.shake" for Combo. It would be great if we could switch between MUGEN's classic shake and Ikemen's interpolation.
Something like:
teamx.shake.type = 1 ; Set to 0 to "classic shake" count on hit, set to 1 to "zoom-in" count on hit.

If the line is omitted, Ikemen executes the classic shake.

I think it would be interesting because Ikemen already has both behaviors. I noticed that if you use a MUGEN lifebar, the combo font will shake, while the standard Ikemen lifebar uses interpolation (zoom-in). In addition, if you want to add other behaviors in the future such as glow, fade, spin, blink, etc. the only thing that would need to be updated in the lifebar would be a simple value.

Although the screenshot is in-game (Bleach Dark Souls), I'm pretty sure this stage was converted. I remember I had it a long time ago with other stages from BDS as well.

@Rurouni, please read edits to this post - most stuff you've reported has been fixed in recent commits. Still waiting for repo steps regarding intros problem you've mentioned, screenshot presenting blending problem, as well as debug dir + select.def needed to investigate your arcade issues.

Ikemen_GO_Win_x64 - 0.9, Kathos' fork:

- Sometimes Ikemen closes when starting, not showing a log message. Usually the first time you open it. Or after a long time when you get back to it.
- Training mode is incomplete?
You cannot select the opponent. Both player 1 and player 2 can be killed. The match does not start with full power bar and
energy does not regenerate. Besides, there is no menu.
- Some musics do not play, and others have a hushed and hissing sound (samples).

Persistent issues:
- Specific intros do not work properly, generally P1 plays a random animation while P2 plays the correct animation.
Some characters do not play specific intros when they are the player 1, but they play normally when they are player 2 (Kenshin from RKSaS for example).
- Maximum of 7 fights in arcade mode. With specific order of opponents or not.
- The standard winquote appears on the victory screen after the 4th or 5th fight. It's not 100% of the time, so I have no way to indicate the trigger, but there are times that all winquotes appear normally.
- "Round.default.anim" doesn't play.
- Draw Game anim / text appears after D.KO.

So, I tested the lifebar again and this time it worked, except what I mentioned above. It seems that there is also a problem with semitransparency of sprites in png, the edges appear to be a little black. Here's the lifebar (OpenGl version of course).
The stages do not appear on the select screen, even if they are assigned for a character and includestage is not used. HOWEVER, I think that this way is better because you can choose the order in which the stages appear on the selection screen.

Some suggestions:
- Portraits and names of teammates on the versus screen (and maybe on the win screen too).
- Some kind of "px.front.spr" / "px.front.anim" in the lifebar, to be able to add something that overlaps the char portrait in the lifebar, without having to use layerno.
- This is something more for the future, but adding some kind of gallery to display some art or replay intros / endings of the characters.
