I supposed I can't rename Arcade to be like Team A Arcade and Team Arcade as Team B Arcade and then make 1v1 matches in both modes with different opponents and different character select screens? Ideally, versus would have a different select screen with all characters.
Different Arcade Opponents Based on Selected Character?
Is there anyway where you could fight two different groups of opponents in Arcade Mode based on who you select as your playable character?
For instance, let's say I was doing a Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat game and I selected an SF character, would it be possible to only play against MK characters; or if I chose an MK character then I would only fight SF opponents?
I could probably do it in two different games or modes, but I'd like to do it in one game/mode so that there are both groups of characters in the character select screen.
Re: MUGEN Guild starter pack: Attack Regulation A (a prepacked MUGEN starter kit)
I know this is an old thread, but thanks for posting the starter pack!
I only got MUGEN a few weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to using it yet (other than playing as KFM). I downloaded the pack today, and it took me a while to figure out how to modify the character select screen for the 40-odd characters and re-arrange them and the big p1 and p2 faces so that the screen looked decent, but I was pretty satisfied when I did.
It also took me a while to find the right resolution and screen settings for my laptop, and to my liking, but now I feel I'm set.
Also, I originally started this pack in MUGEN 1.0 but the character 'K_Kyo' wouldn't work, so I tried putting it all into 1.1b and Kyo worked great.
Re: Introduction Thread (INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO THE COMMUNITY HERE)
Hey guys, first post... I've been playing fighting games since the original Mortal Kombat was only playable in the arcades.
I recently decided that I was sick of the current fighting games out there with absolute crappy AI and missed the Arcade Modes of the old days. I've always been creative and loved messing around with games when I was a teenager (spent years modding Duke Nukem 3D), but only recently stumbled on MUGEN and it peaked my interest.
I'm currently brainstorming my own creation (all original characters, stages, story, etc), and I think I've thought of some ways to make the AI a bit more human-like, but I realize I'm a long way away from having this all ready, but I'm looking forward to digging into it.
I'll read tutorials and such before posting questions, but I'm looking forward to learning more about MUGEN with your guys help... Eventually, I hope to be able to help others as well.
