Well since I'm new here I think I'll contribute a little.

I was looking for a way to change my Hulk's palletes while on his intro and I stumbled upon  XCOSTUME PALLETE SELECTOR 2.0 on MFG and I like the idea but I'm too lazy to import those things on my character.

So I did what I did what I always loved to do. Improvise :cheers: 

I want to make it as simple and practical as possible so here is how you do it  :thumbsup: 

Put this inside your intro state

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

Delete your stateno 5900 on your common.cns and paste this 

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
                                     

And VoilĂ  you can now change palettes in your intro like a pro coder  :clap: 

IMPORTANT NOTE : The only downside of this is your randomizing through the palettes not browsing them and you need choose a palette each round since it has no vars but now with this simple code you can change the palettes in your intro.

Putting the finishing touches on Fatal Claw

Help:  I have an issue with P.O.T.S corner push system due to it not applying corner push if the opponent is in the air. Wolverine's Strong Punch projects the enemy diagonally across the screen, thus, corner push is not applied. Is there a work around without changing the system to target, statetype != L?

Thanks man, you get it. Guys, it's no competition, I like what Quickfist has done but, as said, his is more custom (Hence Quickfist Style) . I wanted a MVC incarnation.

Looks good have you thought any new special or attacks for wolverine,?
Being Infinite inspired, this one will have Ex Specials. I'm also working on Berserker Rage from UMVC3. How does that sound?

Anyway, anyone out there got ideas for Ex Specials?

I'm thinking for Berserker Slash either homing in on the opponent or in UMVC3 Capcom changed in so once you passed through the opponent Wolverine would actually turn around and follow through with the attack as opposed to going on and missing. So there's that

Is the head swap a palette change?  Looks cool
But real similar to quickfist wolverine.
I've customised The Anvil's logan head sprites and head swapped them onto the colour separated sprite set. He will feature a mask on/off ability triggered by taunt.

He also has custom sprites for power charge and his move set will incorporate all his moves from COTA to UMVC3. So hopefully that sets it apart from the other mugenised versions.

Problem solved! Thank you so much for the help, you just made my day.
I already had the variables set up but the answer was in the intro Statedef. It's so bleeding obvious now but without you I would have never had thought of it

For future ref:
Before I had vars set up in the taunt and -2 Statedef but all I needed was the varset in the taunt statedef and a change state in the intro state when teamside = 1 and p2name = "same char"

Thanks, though determining p2 for the mask on/off transformation isn't the problem, it's once the mask is off I can't put it back on during said match when p2 is the same char.

 It's not a huge problem for me as I want the mask off for P1 during a bout with the same char, however I want players to have the freedom to choose if they want the mask on/off during the fight and not be forced to have it off. It's been quite frustrating

At the moment I'm working on a char that can take on and off his mask, for this I use var(23), I have implemented the variable fine however I want to take it one step further and implement where if p2 is the same char p1's mask will be off and p2's on

Now I got it the work somewhat by using teamside = 1 and p2name trigger however I can't get change the mask mid fight using the taunt button, which I allocated to mask on/off, it goes through the animation to change but just stays off. Any ideas? I've tried every trigger I can think off to no avail
