Its great you're giving attention to Nexus Gaming's stuff. They make some good sprites, but the chars themselves... nah.

His characters are well conceived, as are his sprites.
I am also affected by them in no small way.
For example, my 3 button characters were inspired by this Asuna.

Around that time i was still new at making characters, I'm still learning and getting better.

I have edited your initial character this time.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you.

I'm still not very good at mugen either.
Let's take it easy and not think too much about it.

I've been meaning to try your characters since they looked fun. This is a perfect opportunity. My thoughts so far:

My characters have been improved so many times since I released them a few years ago until now that I thought I had enough, but then I realized that there are still areas that could be improved.
I cannot improve everything immediately, but I would like to make changes over time.

"N.G." stands for Nexus Gaming.
In the past, when this character was first released (2015), his name was Shin Mako.
My already released PotS/Infinite style Asuna was released later than this character.
This time I made some major changes to his Asuna in my own way.

I have not updated my characters for a long time, but I have corrected them again.
Many of the changes in this update were influenced by PotS's 2022 version of the characters.

Common
 - Added Guard Cancel Roll from DivineWolf's characters
 - Added sound of the Power Charge.
 - Added TargetPowerAdd to some Supers.
 - Changed LifeMax for all characters except Kung Fu Man.
 - Changed the animation of Throw Escape.
 - Changed PalFX to make it easier to see that it is one second before the Custom Combo ends.
 - Fixed a case where the effect on landing did not appear.
 - Other minor adjustments, etc...

Donald
 - Changed the animation of the standing light punch.

Hisui
 - Changed the VelSet of Air Ladles Attack.

Kung Fu Man
 - A new super move "Kung Fu Crush" was added.
 - Changed the sprite of the Kung Fu Dive movement.
 - Changed the command of Grand Kung Fu Upper.

Konata
 - Added another command version Lv3 Super.

Sonson
 - Fixed problem with jump strong punch getting more than 3 hits.


Additional Fixes

Ako
 - Fixed the TargetLifeAdd in statedef 810.

Mech Hisui 404
 - Changed the LifeMax (1028 to 972)

The cause of the problem was "juggle = 1".
It seems that the same thing is set for some moves, but PotS style characters use var to limit combos, so it is recommended not to use juggle.
I will give you a character in this state for the time being.

It may be a problem that cannot be solved only with Hitdef information, so I think it would be better to give the character itself to someone who seems to be able to solve it and have it fixed.
Apparently it's an PotS/Infinite style, so I might be able to help with the solution.

The sound problem of Somersault Skull Diver has not been fixed from the previous version.

 - Fixed some bugs.
 - Changed the sprpriority of Ground / Wall Impact FXs.

Found a tiny bug on Donald after the update:
-The explosion effect on Apple Bomb and McShake when it makes contact with the opponent has no transparency (It will if it doesn't).

That's all.

The reason for lowering the volume of the hit sound is to prevent it from being annoying when a large number of projectiles are hit.
Gotcha. As for the shockwaves still layered incorrectly, I'll be more specific. This is what happens on any character you made after they touch the ground from Unhappy Meal:

This happens to both the 1st strong and 2nd normal shockwave as they're both layered in front as seen by the circle on Kirito. Right now, it is the only super out of all your characters that is inconsistent (Which are all layered behind them, regardless if they a normal or strong). On the 2022 updates, you started giving your characters their own dedicated shockwaves, wall bounces and sound effects. The reason it never happens to any character that isn't yours is because they're using the ones from the fightfx instead. I don't know how PotS style handles shockwaves and wall bounces since they usually just use the ones from the fightfx. Usually, the normal ones are layered behind while the strong is in the front as what M.U.G.E.N is programmed.

Also, I really like how the new small portraits for the DBFC characters turned out now that they don't stand out with other PotS characters anymore. Had you not have plans to, I could have helped you with that since I can make small portraits through Fighter Factory Studio's Image Editor. I currently have done it with Ichida on his takes on Miyuki and Tatsuya. You're more than welcome to use them for your versions if they share the same palette, but they don't seem to match the art style you're going for and are consistent with your other DBFC characters:



They still borrow influence from the sprites, but modified to try to resemble their big portraits and mostly to be consistent with OHMSBY's in mind then PotS.

I'm playingtest with mugen1.1, so I didn't notice the bug that the effect wasn't transparent.
When I checked it with mugen1.0, I found that a problem really occurred, so I fixed it.

The shock wave appears in front of the character because it inherits the sprpriority value of the previous statedef.
This time, I responded by lowering the sprpriority value of the effects.

Also, the small portraits I added this time are made by me, but I may ask if I need your help.

EDIT: I also noticed K doesn't seem to to work for cancelling Chikayori te Kiru Nari.
Lastly, I think Shikabane o Koete Iku Nari should have more hitpause for the Root attacks because it's far too fast to keep track of.

She was able to temporarily cancel the attack, but she canceled it.
This is to prevent infinite combos.
Also increased the hit pause time.

I got some small feedback for Donald and Kirito:

I was able to notice the parts that I hadn't noticed before.
Almost all have been fixed.
The reason for lowering the volume of the hit sound is to prevent it from being annoying when a large number of projectiles are hit.

her hurt box is so small though. she can duck most attacks.

Thank you very much for this amazing characters conversion.
I want to ask you about the intro for Asuna Vs Kirito, because I see they don't make the special intro:

This is intentional.
If you let them fight a tag match or Kohaku's character, it will move to the scared and worried intro.

It amazes me that Sonson is still getting a little bit of love, even today. Such an awesome work, man! :2thumbsup:


Feedback-wise, I think it would benefit her to include the original 3-hit, jumping h.P from MvC2; as the animation for it actually feels a little off dealing a single hit.

Other than that, everything looks pretty on-point.
