why large BG when you can use tileQuoteThis stage is made for 1280,720 resolution. it will NOT look right on 640,480.
either upscale your mugen, or dont use it. .... or ask him to make it for 640,480.
Or just add a large black background underneath the stage that covers the open area. That's the easiest way to do it. No more crazy stuff going on, AND it will work with 640, 480. !!!!!
