I still have mugen edition 2, a really slightly different version that doesn't include the clip of Ultimate Battle 22 running in the back. Even added a bunch of Hyperdimension inspired sprites for larger roster. brilliance right there

That's an amazing Vegetto sprite. If he ever becomes a thing I hope to see that same sprite in there. The stance and the way everything looks, just feels too nice for me to ignore

It is really weird having the thumb over buttons though, Pads and Hyper DBZ Controls in my opinion are a horrible mix. Keyboard is super satisfying, i'd assume a Fightstick would be just as good. Although i cant imagine having buttons on my right and moving with my left.
I thought i'd have a simple time getting used to it on controller considering how narcissistic i am on keyboard. I felt like a day 1 noob using it tho

Super Saiyan. this is what everything pre God is. Goku is the only one who numbered them.
IRL People are the only ones who graded them.
At the end of the day, SSJ2 and 3, Ultra, Super, Super Ultra Maximum or whatever are just Super Saiyan Ascended beyond normal super saiyan. so basically Super Saiyan. it really doesn't matter

Afterimage? could function as some sort of SSJ Goku like teleport. Takes a bar of ki, and you appear where ever you used it. or maybe like it does in other games and auto dodge

Kamehameha could go well as a lv 1 beam, being smaller than Gohan and Gokus Super Kamehameha, but somewhat stronger than Gokus lv 1.
Kienzan Disc (single) would go well as a lv 3 super like Vegetas Final Flash but also launchable from the air. Breaking guard and homing (not to the extremes, a slight movement in the opponents direction seems pretty fine), but very slow. In the series it did just that, and was stated to be slow asf. (Against nappa for example)

Hyper Dimension did some swell stage transitions.
but you cant really fall from the lookout to korins tower, korins tower has a roof for 1 lol, next there's the whole fact it is directly underneath. if you were knocked out of the lookout, you'd be to the sides of Korins stash and Yajirobe. and in the sky c:

No Gotenks did indeed go straight through SSJ2. the only time after cell saga that is possible to mix up is Gohan vs Dabura. they never mess it up.
Also no one other than Goku ever calls it Super Saiyan TWO. they just call it super saiyan or the next level of super saiyan or some shit
