Hi, Im arielarg, Im not exactly a newbie to mugen, I played it years ago, before elecbyte went down. Then I left it and came back, made a couple of stages (still available at randomselect to my surprise  :P), left again for almost two years (I think) and now Im back again. Anyways. I would like some pointers about whats going on, the forums have changed, obviously, but also about the other engines, I have no idea about them.

My weirdest dream happened a couple of years ago. I was a soldier from the gaul, about to face the romans in open battle. My commander comes to me and tells me to put my hair behind my ears (because it was long and it would bother me in battle, yeah, I know, weird shit, I had short hair at that time). Then, when we are about to engage the romans, one of my felllow gauls comes near me and stabs me in one of the kidneys... I feel it....and wake up. I was very dissapointed, I mean, I was expecting a bloody battle...  :'(

You cannot apply evolution to domestic animals because domestic animals cannot evolve. We'd throw away any mutated ones even if they didn't die.
The weird thing about this is that many "types" (dont know how to call them) of domestic cats & dogs are a lot weaker that the average dog or cat, humans keep them alive and help their procreation because they find them "cute" or any other reason. "Mutated" does not necesarily mean that they have ten legs or something like that.

That's not how evolution works at all. Because I have good nourishment it will not trickle down to my offspring.
Of course not, i was trying to make a point, fast. Its not like the ape ate a beef then he screamed "omg! i am naked!", and then his son turned out to be Albert Einstein. It happened through a LONG, VERY LOOOOONG period of time.

IIRC I remeber it being something like this: apes are vegetarian (dont know if all of them tough) and they live mostly in trees, as it provides them with food supply and protection from predators. Now this was exactly the same with our ancestors (YES THEY WERE APES, BEAR WITH IT) but the changes in weather, destroyed most trees (im talking about africa here) so these apes had to came down to the ground to find food, in time they became carnivorous as well, since they needed as much food as they could get. The proteins in meat helped the growth and development of a much more complex brain, thus here we are today. Sorry if this explanation sounds like a 5 year old child, but i tried to make sense with my limited english languaje.

An science doesnt tell aus nwe are bananas because theres no reason to it, no empirical evidence, no logic behind it, its much more dumb to believe that god or some other being created everything just because the bible or another book tells you.

What bothers me most about ID is that they try to hide its obvious religious content by passing it as a science, when in fact its nothing like that. I mean some of its preachers seem to be total ignorants, i remember watching a show when one of the ID gurus said something like "you want evidence of creationism? just look at the grand canyon wich was created by a sudden burst of water" i was like  :o when i heard that totally retarded piece of $%$#%#$%.

Hmm.. like i said before, i dont know if there is a god, i do horewer believe in evolution, and I find the teaching of Intelling Desing insulting, specially for people who dont belong to the christian community, but still has to listen to that crap at school. Also i dont really believe that jesus was the son of "god" (again IF it exists), he did nothing special, he was a "miracle maker" like dozens of his time, but the variables of history were on his favor, and his followers managed to "spread the word" better than followers of other faiths.
On a (hopefully) funny note, i remember reading this pick up line on the net once: "tell me, would you sleep with jesus?, i mean, lets pretend its the year 20 and you are in a bar in jerusalem, and this guy jesus comes to your table and turns your water into wine, would you sleep with him?"
Dont be offended now, i just found it funny  :P

I would say im agnostic, i was raised as a catholic, but as i grew up i realised that theres really no point (IMO, i dont mean to offend anyone) in all those rituals, i mean, i dont know if there is a greater being (so far everything points up in the opposite direction) but IF it exist i dont think it cares if i go to church on sundays or not  :P
Religion can be a good thing, it strenghtes some people "soul", gives them hope. On the other hand some people can do very bad things in its name, and i dont mean just dangerous, intolerant, fanatics, just look at that "intelligent desing" crap, its like taking a 100 years step backwards.
Anyways english is not my native languaje, so i hope i made sense  ;P
