Awesome bars! Yeah there are a few small issues which i would iron out
-When the battle setup flashes up, when the light goes green it seems to stay on the screen for about a second after the battle starts, the AI can get a cheeky hit or 2 in before this disappears.
-P2 combo font detail needs to be reversed
-Possibly, change the colour of the 'winner' font after the battle to match with the battle setup text etc.
-I dont understand why you'd put the player portrait for default under the bars instead of over. Between the bars, portraits, and combo font they take up a lil too much room on the screen IMO. Possibly consider shrinking the portraits and placing them on top of the bars.

Much better! I realised that when performing the qcf +2k move, the sparks for the initial combo appear in the wrong place though... much lower down than they should. Are you changing the hyper portraits or leaving them?

Good shin akuma. Some things i've noticed:

-with the air zanku hadouken hyper move, the game can slow down (and my pc doesnt usually have these problems). Im guessing this is because the hadouken graphic (which seems to be more detailed/different resolution than the normal standing hadouken) is problematic with so many at once on the screen. Personally i'd prefer a similar hadouken graphic to the standing type..... the two styles seem a bit mismatched anyway.

-also with this move, even when it is blocked, you still get the 'marvellous' statement

-Personally i dont think that the hyper portraits are fitting with the mvc style, and just one attractive one rather than multiple ones would be better.

I like this character a lot though and you have made good progress. With a few more tweaks it's a deffinate keeper in any mvc roster

the small portrait is representative of the entire character. Ive given feedback for this multiple times and have given up on this crap now. Im not even going to offend myself by downloading it again

still doesnt feel right:

-walks too fast and slides across the stage when he finishes walking
-seems to be too much push back on the basics.... cant chain well
-has no launcher

some parts are improved, but this isnt even close yet

edit: its much improved from the original. The voice from the flame thrower is a lil weird and he really NEEDS a hyper portrait to make him on par with Jill.... have no clue why he couldnt figure out how to fix the palette.... it only needed dos2win lol

its a good character, plays really well for an alpha. just needs some sprite touch ups to get rid of the 'sagatness' and a few more moves and its a winner

dont suppose anyone knows about configuring a pad with this? its fine on old mugen then i go to set it up for this. I try to set the directions but it jumps 2 buttons at a time eg. i configure 'up' then it skips the 'down' assignment and goes to 'left, then i configure left and it skips 'right' and goes right through to the punch and kick buttons'. The punches and kicks configure fine and only go through the list once when a button is assigned, as it should. Just skipping for the directional keys, and i see no logical explanation....

-some attacks have no hit or swing sounds. see standing lp and mp
-couldnt find a launcher
-eye laser is done to death
-chaining feels off
-hyper port fills whole screen with unrelated crappy imagery

Not impressed. Hope it's a beta.

So after i go through all this crap of creating a yahoo account and subscribing.... i have to wait for my subscription to be verified? this is ridiculous.
