This is a good Chun-Li so I took the liberty to give her the Air Demon Hyper Move (not gonna release it of course, out of respect for the mugen community), but I gotta say this is the best Chun-Li out there.

UPDATE 14/07/2009

  •   Bug fix

  •   Superpause effect now change its colour, if you chain hyper move.

<Garuda, Story Line>

Garuda is the demonic embodiment of all that is Satsui no Hadou. He was awakened as a result of the struggle between Akuma and Kairi. Desperate to save his life from the savagery of Akuma's attacks, Kairi released an uncontrollable burst of energy just as Akuma was about to execute the Shun Goku Satsu on Kairi. This burst both stunned Akuma, and attracted Garuda to the location of the fight.

Kairi was enveloped in light and disappeared from the battle before Garuda could arrive. Garuda, finding only Akuma, challenged Akuma to a fight. Akuma, thinking that Garuda was some weak henchman sent from the netherworld, was more than happy to destroy this demonic form. But to Akuma's surprise, the harder he fought, and the more he tapped into Satsui no Hadou, the stronger and more forceful Garuda's strikes became. After sustaining several damaging blows, Akuma realized he was no match for Garuda, and began to plot an escape from the fight. Just as Akuma was about to make his move, Garuda stopped.

Garuda realized that Akuma was not the source of the burst of energy that Garuda was seeking. No longer interested in Akuma, he left the scene, in search once more for the source of the energy. Garuda searched for a long time, and could not find the man responsible. It wasn't until the second EX tournament that Garuda sensed that the man had returned. He sought to fight Kairi, interrupting his fight against M. Bison.

Kairi did possess some form of Satsui no Hadou, but Garuda was unable to draw upon it's power to the same degree as he could when he fought against Akuma. Something prevented him, and he didn't know what it was. The fight ended in a draw when, furious with the interruption, M. Bison performed the Psycho Crusher on Garuda. Garuda attempted to fight back and destroy this nuisance by unleashing the Soukon Dan attack. But to Garuda's surprise, the souls launched at Bison did not burn him, they merged with him and made his power stronger. Unsure of how that was possible, he fled the arena to continue his search for Kairi.

Garuda would not have his rematch with Kairi until the third EX tournament. Kairi, his heart now softened by the pleas of his little sister Nanase, had twisted the power of Satsui no Hadou into a force for life as opposed to a force for death. Garuda challenged Kairi with the intent of killing him, and he proceeded to beat Kairi within an inch of his life, just as Akuma had done. With what little energy Kairi had remaining,
he released a burst of light in the form of the Shouki Hatsudou attack, which instantly dispersed Garuda. He has never been seen or heard from since.

Now it is safe for Akuma to roam the world again…

Note: Garuda beat up Akuma and force him to hide, that why Akuma don't appear in StreetFight EX2 and EX3

And now I call him back from the emptyness so that he can hunter Akuma once more  ;D and later he might beable to get his rematch in Mugen Work  >:D

That story about makin Akuma hide is just bullshit....

Hey, uh Tengu....did you make a character? If you didn't I would not suggest ORDERING someone to fix a character that THEY (not you) made. If you don't like a character, learn to code and fix it yourself in a mod or whatever.

I don't remember reading any post with Tengu ordering someone to do something, as though he was a dictator.

Dude, stop defending the jerk or he'll just keep being one...let him learn a lesson in manners...

I fully agree that AOF3 had crappy gameplay, but the animation and sprites overall were beautifully done in that NeoGeo game.

Yah know, giving feedback, last time I checked didn't require you to be a dickhead, so that gives him no excuse to be that way, regardless of what you say...anyways I'm gonna test him too.

Wild, it was always blockable, the only time I saw it unblockable was in mugen, and not only that it can only be blockable and M, so if the target jumps they get hit, if they crouch they get hit

Fatal Fury Wild Ambition (Which IronMugen's Ryo is mostly based on), and in KOF2k2 Ryo also had an unblockable Ryuko Ranbu.


I have Fatal Fury Wild Ambition and it IS blockable, sorry, can't get me with an obscure and underated game (meaning the game was amazing btw)

Wait, you made Ryuko Ranbu blockable? Whats the point of using it now? It comes out so slow, you can't combo or juggle it off of anything, so making it blockable pretty much makes it useless, unless you give him the ability to super cancel and make it come out faster.

Every special and super is blockable, now I kept the commands the same but that is the whole point of mugen is to modify specials and supers in the command file.

Let's see...

- When you start a fight, there is a clone of his stance.
- His stance is idle.
- You changed Zanretsuken to HCB, it should stay as F, B, F.
- I don't like how you changed Kyokugen Renbuken to D, D.
- I think the Kyokugen Koho super needs different sounds when it connects instead of using the AOF pow for every hit, and I think it would look better if the effect was transparent.
- While that added combo ability is neat (I like being able to chain crouching LK into crouching HP like in KOFXI, and I intended to add this to CCI Ryo myself), Ryo shouldn't be able to chain close HP into far HP, or standing LP into HP or HP into HK. Those kind of combo's aren't possible in KOF.
- Get rid of that code for Syn's stages, it most likely fucks him up, and Syn's stages all suck.

Also I think he could really use a damage dampener or some sorts now. Cr. LK, Cr.HP, Kyokugen Renbuken >> Kyokugen Koho does over 50% damage, and thats only a level 1 super too. Either that or his damage is nerfed. I always disliked how his Ryuko Ranbu did like 75% damage, and KOF never had any level 3 supers. I'd turn it into a HSDM requiring 1/4 life left and make it cost 2 power stocks, and do only 40% damage or less, since it's unblockable and junk.

BTW, kinda funny how he's an edit of an edit since I originally did some minor editing to him in the first place.

-I mentioned about the Syn code and the Lifebar code at the top (it's causing the clones, forgot to take it out)
-I only worked with what was already in his .sff, that is why his stance is idle (I also mentioned you can change it back)
-Zanretsuken command is preference in mugen anyways
-Again the Renbuken is preference
-Combo potential is not ment to be accurate (especially since it is mugen)
-I made his attack 120 you can change it back if you don't like the damage (I have it set to that because of how I set up my mugen)
-I didn't make the Ryoku Ranbu, remember this is an edit not my own character, take this and edit it your way and I will download and test (I might even like it)  8)

I'll understand that you separated the files for editing purpouse, but i wouldn't announce it as an improvement. Anyway im gonna test this.

Ok here's what I did:

-Divided all of the air, cns, etc. to there proper files
-Added the Super Upper from Mr. Karate
-Added power up sparks when he throws the Hou Sho Ko Ken (even in his Ryu enbu desperation)
-Adjusted damage of Tenki (lower) but now can't block in air
-Adjusted Zan Retsu Ken's height after uppercut (some characters I fought would roll out of it)
-Adjusted Zan Retsu Ken's target's recovery
-Changed stance (can go in Air file and change it back if you like, it's at the very top semicoloned)
-Added better combo potential

You might need to do an alt F to find def -2 to erase some code I put in for a lifebar. I also left in some code for some of Syn's Stages.
