His sprites were always really good, but a lot of characters felt so blank and unfinished ... so this is absolutely great news! I'm hoping that down the road you'll over-haul characters such as Homer and Peter as well!

thanks for the concept ideas, its funny how i the whole vanilla mix up turned into a mashup of ryus sfa2 stage and the outback stage, but i managed to dig up a couple of images of his sfa3 stage, and after some tweaks and twerks,
it turned out a little more grape flavored then strawberry, but its definitely not vanilla...

Feedback for your E. Ryu:
- I would reccomend switch the air Tatsus .. meaning the base version of Evil Ryu uses the zero gravity, and the Ex version uses the normal function, as your base form is suppose to be more CvS-counterpart(ish) where as the Ex/Shin form is suppose to combine elements from various other games including SF4 etc.
- I know he's not 100% complete but someone above mentioned him possibly having his HCF + K move from SF4, I deff. would hope that would be in.
- I think the Shin mode could get away with an airal hadouken ala MvC, but it would have to be a straight-across projectile, not and downward version ... gotta' keep him separate from Gouki/Akuma.
- Jumping F+MP should be able to be followed up with a Shoryuken, can't seem to nail that, and I also would suggest making it able to cancel into a Shinkuu Hadouken. The move should be two hits, refrence the Pots Evil Ryu edit that I edited, or mrywrly's (name?) edit. At least for the Ex version, I can seldomly land the combo but it comes out looking really strange.
- The Shaknetsu Hadouken being HCF+P, but the ex being HCB+P kinda' feels weird, but it's your character bro. (Normal mode)
- Not that I mind, but it does look a little weird that the Ex mode uses Alpha Ken's grab, but hey different is different; again it's your project, not saying it's bad it just kinda' threw me off ...
That's all I got for now, he feels really solid and is quite fun man!

So far he seems pretty sturdy, aside from the mentioned missing (opinionated) sound during his dodge ... I can't seem to find anything I dislike or that seems "off' about him, it'll be cool seeing these really neat sprites with balanced gameplay!

I see what you were going for there Ness, but I think you can still keep the contrast in the skin tones and still have the same effect. It looks kind of bad as is. Very nice pals though!
I try to keep the tones from having too much contrast because I think to me they look better and look less SNKish.

The shun goku satsu(s) come out WAYYYYY too fast. The character has some awesome visuals but all forms pretty much feel the same minus Oni which basically has a one handed fireball and a few different variations

As for E. Ryu's Omega moves .. the Axe-kick is pretty sweet, I would deff. try to manipulate that as at least an Ex variant to his Axe kick for Ex/Shin mode if you're planning on adding it... As for the Hadouken.. not so much... I'd make Shin mode's Ex Tatsu have a little more "pull" ... and have the Ex tatsu in air not hav the vaccume effect, but rather the Zero gravity like the cvs2 incarnation but make it move faster ... that's just my opinion...

what do you mean vanilla? are you talking about the suzaku snow stage? i think you might be looking for something like
Suzaku Castle stage, from Street Fighter 2 Revival + edits, by DM - its the stage i currently use for evilryu,
and not to sound like a broken record but, vegaz has some pretty sick jump stages for both those characters, but i will put a dark hado style stage on my list of things to do... right after eating a bowl of icecream
Lmao no worries, and actually I meant the SFZ3 sunset field for vanilla ryu jus because it's one of the few that haven't seen a change yet ... and enjoy your ice cream

You gotta' do an awesome one for Akuma/Evil Ryu next! ;-). Use SFA3 Vanilla Ryu's stage and make it rain with thunder and lighting that would be awesome for Ryu ... Akumas has to have Fire somehow ...

I would add both for the fact you could also use them in custom supers as well .. Plus his ex shin mode will stand out a little more ... I'd even consider givingn shin mode the aw voice
