It was for me hard work too. Start from swaps, do it like KingAnon, then after that you will get advanced, belive me. Chris, check some topics, take your time, for me it took 6 mouthns to make a char. Try from editing KFM, that's how I started.

Did you visited Veliki Brijuni? It's really awesome there.

yeah we just went zagreb but i love it there, beautiful scenery, ...hot women :)

when you say kfm, I take it you mean the karate dude that comes with mugen - edit it to start rather than create your own?

as for the cost, yeah you are a little out of my budget right now, but I appreciate it, I may well get back in touch in the future

and as just no point says, value is highly subjective...

what is fun to you is hard work to me - and worthy of some capital to outsource:p

its been a while since i went croatia, how much is 10k kuna :)

its a shame you arent up for it borghi, u came recommended, let me know if you change your mind..

as for the quality of the work, its also pretty subjective - if you have a standard in mind for $500, pls let me know...

I'm thinking a fairly simple character with a few basic moves, nothing too advanced for this first one, we can get clever / higher cost after this first project

getting a bit of mugen history here too which is interesting...

I suspect its difficult to set an objective price on something like this,

So I will just throw a number out - $500 for the first character...

as for payment, I think half up front and half on completion is going to be best

I suppose if I get flamed off the forum, Ive lowballed,...

if I get a flood of pms, Ive gone too high, so I will let the market decide :)

well, mugen is free but its going to take me time to learn how to use the tools, code, design etc...

am sure you guys on here can work out how much time you ve invested...

I will v probably learn a bit more about the dev side, but I dont have the time or the inclination to get upto your skill level

Hello Mugen guild,

I hope I have placed this in the correct forum.

I am a Mugen newbie, and am having so much fun with the whole thing that I would like to find a developer who can create some custom Mugen characters for me.

I would be happy to pay for the service (since I want specific characters creating, myself, people who I know etc).

Initially, I would only want 3 characters creating - but potentially I may want many more after this first project.
