I found the archive of Ahuron's website but I can't seem to find Asura. The characters are in Japanese (I think?) so I've been trying to recognize the file name and so far no luck. I would be very grateful for this character. Thanks so much!

No matter what I use to record, it runs slow and crappy. It can't be my laptop, I got 8GB of RAM in there and a Geforce 630M. I got FRAPS to work after changing the setting to "OPENGL" but its soooo slow. Ideas?

Running Mugen 1.0 640x480 in full-screen, FRAPS isn't recognizing? Any idea on what I can change in my settings to make it work? I would really like to record some videos for my Youtube page. Thanks so much! :)

Yup, all fixed and working great! Now to record gameplay. :D Thanks for all your help, Carlos! You've been amazing, I really appreciate it! :) Though I still don't know why the music suddenly starting working. Oh well...

EDIT: I downloaded Mugen All-Stars Fighting Jam as my new screenpack, now the themes all work for some reason! I assume the screenpack came with some plugins? But now I have a new problem: the screenpack cuts off near the bottom of the screen. I can't, for example, see what stage I'm selecting. Help?

See, that's the thing: I've done all that. I've been MUGEN'ing since it came out, I'm positive I've done this properly. And yet the title screen and select screen music still won't play.

I think thats because the Xbox360 controler as a diferent button layout compared to others like PS2 controler, but here what you can do:
-Download http://www.electracode.com/4/joy2key/JoyToKey%20English%20Version_files/jtk374en.zip
-Then configure a easy way like this:
Keybord A= controler button A , Keybord UP arrow = Dpad UP , Keybord Enter = Start button , Keyboard Esc = Back button ...
-After you configure all keybord to controller run MUGEN,enter in opitions, and configure the comands with the controller,
ok thats all, i think you will be able to play with the Xbox360 controller with no problem.
I will try this joystick program you mentioned. As far as I know I am using the standard Mugen 1.0 screenpack. The one that comes with the program. Any ideas, my friend?

So, I have a situation. With Mugen 1.0 the title theme and select theme both do not play. Stage themes play fine. What might be the cause of it? I'm running 1.0 on a laptop, 8GB of RAM, Geforce GT 630M 1GB, and Win 7. Please let me know if there is any information I can provide that will help in solving this issue.

I also had one other problem with WinMugen (not 1.0, but I assume I may have the same issue with 1.0?). I plugged in my official XBox 360 controller. The analog stick recognizes fine but the d-pad doesn't? I don't know if I'll have this issue with 1.0 because I've yet to test it.

In "system.def" I have the following:

sound/sf2.mp3

I then copied the track to a different location, which came out to:

data/mugen1/sf2.mp3

Neither work. What's logo.def? Thanks for all your help, friend.

So yeah, I'm running Mugen 1.0 on Win7. Have 8GB of RAM, Radeon HD 4200. My custom music does not run either on the title screen or the select screen. It works for stages, however. What do I do? If I have to install a plugin, which one? And how? I see that it is different from installing plugins for WinMugen, which I had to do. I was using in_mp3PRO to make my music work for WinMugen.

Hey man. Info:

Mugen 1.0 running on Win 7
Default Screenpack ("big" version with 60 character slots)
No plugins except the default "mpg123"
Music files are mp3, do not play at select or title screen. mp3's work fine in stages.

That's all I can think of. Feel free to ask me anything you want...

Hm, that's weird. Is there a certain setting or something that it requires to work? I've had issues running it full-screen so I'm in 320x240 (sprites look the best that way). Thank you for everything, you've been very helpful! If you have any further ideas, I'm all ears. :)

Thank you, though I'm hesitant to try it out. Last time I ran 1.0 my windows explorer and Google Chrome defaulted to maximizing off-screen. It was a bit annoying to have to drag them over back on the screen. Do you know of any ways to make FRAPS work with WinMugen? I managed to fix my WinMugen (not 1.0) sound problem by changing the mp3 plugin. Music still won't play for 1.0.

Ugh, any ideas?

Hey guys, got a few issues here. I have no clue what the hell is going on here, any help would be appreciated.

Facts: Running Mugen 1.0 on Win 7, 640x480 resolution.

Problems:

1. mp3's DO NOT play at the title screen or select screen. I put "sound/namegoeshere.mp3" for both and made sure the mp'3s were located in that directory. No luck. Stage music plays. The music used to play long before so I don't know what happened.

2. I cannot get FRAPS to work with Mugen 1.0 at all. I start FRAPS, start Mugen. NOTHING.

3. I don't know why, but after running FRAPS and Mugen my Google Chrome browser started to glitch. Whenever I would open it it would be located off-screen and I could not access it. I uninstalled it.

Seriously, fucking hell this is annoying.
