The sprites are just not very good.

Now, before posting in this thread people keep in mind that Placemario (As well as WlanmaniaX) are among a small group of um, special, kids. Being special, you cannot supply these kids with effective feedback for 4 reasons:

1) They don't play fighting games. They never had any interest in fighting games before discovering MUGEN. They are more accustomed to their licensed paint-by-numbers platform games that they get the sprites from. They do not really know how CVS2 works, they think that yanking the hitsparks and sounds from Daniel and/or the IMT template makes their characters CVS. They wouldn't enjoy the actual CVS2 because they can't press F1 or pick a stupid piece of junk like Chuck Norris and effortlessly cruise through the game. Therefore, giving them feedback based on such gameplay will not work out due to Placemario's utter lack of CVS2 and general fighting game knowledge. He won't know how to apply it correctly.

2) Any form of criticism is taken as a personal insult in their special minds and will take such with hilarious hostility. Often, it will end up with these kids writing on that MUGEN wiki (The one that serves as a database for stupid nintendo and cartoon conversions not the one about MUGEN code) about how mean their critics are for not giving them the love they need to become internet stars through their MUGEN characters.

3) In addition to being a little too young to be immersing themselves in the internet public, their...well...special learning obstacles will prevent full absorption of MUGEN code education due to impatience and poor comprehension.

4) Anyone who would make something like "CVS2" Goofy has absolutely no potential whatsoever.
