Sorry about this, but I have a few questions regarding Jago, I'll put them as bullet points so they don't somehow seem like an unorganized bunch. Aside from various issues with the playstyle, I do adore that someone took their time to make my all time favorite Monk for Mugen!
- Why is Jago's walking backwards speed much faster than his walking forward speed? It seems like it was meant to be the other way around. If it's not an error, I assume he's more of a zoner with his Endokuken. - His super Endokuken whiffs in the corner, is that supposed to happen? - His super DP voice clip seems off to me, is there a possibility of giving him his EX DP sound clip to that move? - In future updates, are there plans to add some more frames to his animations? - Jago has a potential infinite chaining his Light Windkick, LP, MP, repeat. - One more thing, I'm not sure why, but why is there a red CLSN box in his Stand to Crouch animation?
I can believe that, at first, I adored that fighter with all my heart. When they announced the DLC shortly after, and a huge patch, I was amazed. It's now almost 2013, and still no news of the game's port to PC or progress whatsoever. Only merch, merch, and more merch.
In all seriousness, a cast of 8 is a too small for a fighter (in my opinion), especially one that takes team-play into account. Though all characters play differently and have different means of tactics to overcome the opponent, it could've been so much better if they had waited a bit longer for a release and maybe, I don't know, had some voice acting or some of type of animations for the story? EIther way, the game might be able to save itself in due time, though online isn't all that grand either.
I was hoping if anyone had these sprites in their hard drive that they are willing to share. Before using google, I did search the main sprite site I use, Spriters Resource, but they didn't have the sprites I was lookin' for either. So, as a last resort, I decided to use this.
After you finish the stories and fiddling with the Chaos, there's really nothing left to do since they gave me the space suits from the beginning. It's better than most Sonic the Hedgehog games, but for some reason the replay value dropped for me. Maybe it's just that I played it fully back in the day.
I'm glad you enjoy her gameplay, but I am curious, what do you mean by "these types of characters"?
Sorry about that, haha, I guess I should've worded that sentence better. But what I meant by 'these types' is the range of Marvel or DC. Sure, they're pretty cool lookin', but they didn't really suit my rosters. considering that they contain GG/Hokuto no Ken and Sengoku.
But, this character in particular has convinced me enough to make her a member of the roster as well.
It'd be better than what DBZ games have been recently released (i.e. Ultimate Tenkaichi) Though, I guess the Budokai HD collection was pretty good.
More on topic, I'm pretty surprised with the animation quality. Out of personal opinion, I feel like the stance of this Goku outweighs the original Z2 in terms of a fighting stance. As good as GokuZ2 was, his stance bugged me, but overall was an amazing character. I have really high hopes for this character. It's rare to see 'easy on the eyes' Dragon Ball characters in Mugen, let alone sprites that fit in well with the other roster members.
As dumb as this may sound, I might just try this just to see how a team of Raohs fight against a team of Kenshiros. As if 2 v 2 simultaneously wasn't bad enough.
But, in the end, this is pretty neat all things considered.
Re: G4TV rebrands itself by canceling X-Play and Attack of the Show, yes seriously
Television networks revolving around video games never last long (in my opinion, at least). It's a shame that crap on other networks influence these type of actions. All be it I don't usually watch G4 aside from when I first discovered it before Cops and Cheaters or some of reality show took over the main stream.
Though it was a ride I particularly didn't like, it was somethin' to say the least. I wonder what could they label themselves now.
The sprites that you see on the left side were ones that I found, forgot where. I edit them to fit a better quality in my personal opinion. Though I've just begun sprite editing, I will begin making custom characters when the chance arises.
I still have some things to learn, but I want to wait a little bit to let the sprite edit count go up. In my opinion, 3 sprites arn't enough for me to be satisfied to make a thread. I will happen soon, knowing that it's good in both of you two's opinion.
