Character vs Character Music?

Before I start, I'm not even positive what I'm trying to do is currently feasible, just wanting to try something out.

I've currently got stage music working, and characters over-ride stage music using their own music in arcade mode, but I'm curious as to if I can over-ride music if two specific characters are fighting.

For example, Bugya's Dante and Vergil have a very brief into animation, but in the event they're matched against eachother, they will play a quick battle exchange animation before the match starts. I'm hoping that there's a way to attach an MP3 to that detection system that plays in place of a stage file.

On the crazier side of though processes, I noticed that Warusaki3's Yoko had the ability to delay music playback on start, and pause music playback during hypers. If MUGEN itself doesn't have a method for checking characters, this could be used in combination with Bugaya's character check to permanently pause the stage music and queue another song instead. Granted, I'm pretty sure you'd have to queue a WAV at that point, and file size would skyrocket as result.

Well, hopefully it doesn't come to that. Anyways, does anyone know if there's an easy method to incorporating this?

Btw, I'm running version 1.0

Thanks!
