Yes. Midi was what we used back in 1999~
You can optionally look to convert your MP3s (back them up first!) to OGG or smaller MP3s (lower bitrate). It may or may not work.
So, what would be better, ogg or midi?

I cant even put my resolution in anything 640x480 or less.
actually, 5 gig is pretty huge: think about it: mugen has to load characters, stages, sounds, music etc...
to counter long ass mugen loading, the only efficient solution i know is having various screenpacks with small rosters.
and I'm only loading about 5 GB of data which isn't THAT much.
You mean the one made by Duracelleur? yeah... that was actually a good compilation... I know I said im not in favor of compilations but Duracelleur's stuff is always trusted.
Thanks for your time though! (Although it would still be nice to solve this mystery :/)
They might have been prepared to work only in a fullgame aspect.
I suggest changing the thread name to attract responses that go towards what you need.
Something like "Characters leave behind helpers during intro, how to fix?"
Why the hell would you download an incomplete and corrupted compilation made with the EVE screenpack???.... this is pure fail.... I recommend you to stay away from compilations, their never up to date and they could always have a virus...
Not anymore, you can now use Vselect and add characters with a few mouse clicks.
