Yes this Dark Ash works slow on mugen 1.0. No way around it... have to use mugen 1.1b!
Fixed the winscreen to display english text instead of the incorrect Japanese text, but only 2 of the 4 winquotes I put in will be randomly generated. The winquotes will still appear again after the animation.
The special backscreen when DM finish does not work in mugen 1.1b. So I removed it. It will also create even more lag for mugen 1.0.

Awesome indeed. And as NoZ mentioned, it allows for characters with evolution phases to be categorized and selected by pressing right/left. Very very cool.

1. All special dash and EX dash has Dark Ash turn once the ctrlset kicks in, so that if he jumps right after, he will jump backward if he has passed p2, instead of forward.
These turn issues can be really detrimental and I try to fix them asap.
2. Increased ground velocity Y of weak dash by -0.2, so that the infinite can be performed slightly easier when at edge of screen.
Also, you might have realised that the overall file size is smaller. I used the FFclassic -> cut all tactic to reduce all sprite sizes.
This character is very demanding on system resources if you play it on mugen 1.0. Hence, using Mugen 1.1b is strongly advised! The super does not lag on an i3 3.30ghz CPU with 2GB ram only (my crappy pc at work) if you use mugen 1.1b.
There is no other way of making the explods appear so nicely
Dark Ash KOF XIII - 30 May 2014 - English Winquotes in Winscreen Fixed
This 95% completed release of Dark Ash, best played in mugen 1.1b, uses Randy Fenrir's Ash XIII as a base. Everything (especially the combos) has been painstakingly redone and fixed to be very accurate to Dark Ash from KOF XIII and KOF XIII Steam, except for the following:
1. No drive cancel - meaning, he can perform infinite cancels from special into super moves. Enjoy till I implement it :p 2. No hyperdrive 3. Cannot be guard crushed or dizzied, yet, but can dizzy the enemy (didn't like that a boss could be guard crushed/dizzied) 4. No boss flame aura 5. Certain combos should not be there (eg. fireball should not hit tripped enemy, and full-screen DM should not hit 5040 air-recovering enemies. I intentionally left the full-screen DM combo there, for boss-likeness).
*Do note that you can combo immediately after EX Dash (B,F, c) hits the enemy (and dark ash is on the other side of the enemy), by pressing the next command in reverse. He has tons of combos and infinites. Take your time to explore!
Inaccuracies/bugs: 1. Hit/guardsounds and voices may not be super accurate. 2. Super dash (DFDF, z) mechanics a bit inaccurate. 3. His super fireball (DFDF+punch) might be slightly buggy when executed together with enemy supers (clash of pause timings).
Oh it's not about modifying that trigger. It's about what to add as a new trigger to destroy the helper when it is guarded 6 times. I am still unable to solve it It's taking way too much time.
