Program to batch-zip chars and update select.def?

 Board: M.U.G.E.N Configuration Help
So, I was wondering if there is a program that will perform these steps:

-Edit my unzipped characters' text files so to adhere to the "make sure text files end with a blank line" rule described here http://shinchoujin.50webs.com/mugen/zip_e.htm .
-Zip up my unzipped characters.
-Update my select.def (from one or more motifs?) for characters that have been zipped

-Maybe delete the old unzipped files.


If such a program exists, please let me know about it.

If you do not think that it exists, let me know that too.  I don't want to spend my time looking for something that is not there.
