I know they're pretty much an overkill. Thinking about getting a third monitor for gaming to better suit its purpose, but the fact that the GPUs consume 400w together already keeps me worried about my electricity bill...

Yeah they do, but a mid-tower ATX-case wouldn't be the best choise though. The case is a low-budget Antec 300, the simple looks are mainly the reason why I bought it in the first place. Changing cases would mainly improve the airflow and give them more room to breath.

oh, and imo
the message for chess game "I've made my move" in PM is not that important, since there is always an exclamation mark next to our chess bar when one of your current game has been updated/ your opponent has made their move.
You can turn them off from the chess settings.
