hmmm how did you rip it maybe i can help you also there is a site called marvelmods.com they have all the sounds but they are in a different format i dont know how to convert

nope she stays the same only thing she is getting is diamond form astral form a cutback on sprites she is using for fx and serious bug fixes

is something like this?
Yes the differences will be a different mk 9 style template.. there will be no smart pal to offer better sprite detail.. Her moves will be different more mk based and more real less drama etc

well im sorry if i over reacted i just kinda get defensive because i felt that my friends who coded it were being attacked.. And to be honest she is being entirely redone for the mk vs marvel project on a mk template.. Im also respriting her and she is will have new everything according to the template.. As far as her crisis template thing the one that was released she was made to be a boss character.. Im glad I got some feedback that is why she was an alpha there is a lot of bug in her code.. In her next crisis release I hope to fix a lot of the problems addressed.. I think that a lot of the problems stems from the coders adding too much helpers too when they should of used explods.... And the particle fx have too much frames..

I didnt do anything with the coding except ome of the the sound.. I think the main problem with the code is it started with one person then she handed it to another person then another person and another person.. I think that there was about 5 coders on her.. I am going to keep emma down off of cvg now until she gets upgraded to mugen 1.0 and a ton of the bugs get fixed..

well I don't know there are a whole bunch of spriting tutorials that are step by step.. I guess I was looking for one that showed you how to sting things together and what everything means etc..

I really hope your coder never codes a grappler from a KOF game. All the bindings and timings in throws need work. YUK !!!

PS : Why is there an image showing that P2 is on the left of the screen when he's perfectly in the middle ?
All this to say : you shouldn't take it badly that people are criticizing the character you've spent 2 years to sprite. The sprites are really fine for the most part, and really have potential. You should be more concerned and mad that in this case, the coder you chose to put your hard work to life did a lousy job, alpha or not. The fact you're making this private doesn't really show you want the character to improve, which is kinda sad...
lol now thats funny haha i noticed that too.. I wish there was a really in depth walkthough on coding and I would fix some of these flaws.. That post really calmed me down a bit lol All I ask for is more tactful reviews I guess.. Is that too much to ask

Let me put it this way.. Some of what that guy said made a lot of sense. I can take it into consideration because I agree with some of it.. Some of his comments were just plain mean.. I don't think that if you want to review something and help make something better you would try to insult the people that created it.. Be more tactful.. There was nothing that that guy said that was positive about her it was all negative. Example... i like this move but this move the hit box was off it needs to be like this.. That is good.. Why throw in insults or negative words when you are trying to help someone.. I spent a couple years making this character and im very proud of the alpha release.. Yes there are bugs, she is an alpha release.. Yes they should be pointed out so that future releases can be better.. But no one has to make insulting comments about it..

thats okay because they are going against all mugen code of ethics, things are not supposed to be hosted or edited without the creators permission.. If thats the case then thats bad on your forum.. I have a lot of friends in mugen on different forums and they will all know about this And because this is happening ... All future updates and everything else that is going on with emma will not be able to be publicly downloaded.. So you guys are stuck with the emma that you think is so crappy.. And will not be able to see any of the improved things.. Sorry but it all comes down to respect and it seems that you guys cant respect a simple request.. This is my last comment I make on this thread i hope until I can contact the site owner..

Because This forum doesn't show the same respect that imt, scruffy or cvg shows toward the creators and allows people to throw direct insults at people's work and not constructive criticism then I will just keep my characters to request only..

i want my character removed from this site.. I dont see what the problem is.. I dont see why your posting stuff about her.. If you dont like her then dont download her. Mugen is supposed to be a hobby not a business.. There is no reason to argue or throw around insults about the way i sprite now.. Just remove the topic.. It's out of respect for the creators... Im trying to be as adult as i can about this... Lock the topic or delete it.. I dont want my work on this site.

I am the one who sprited emma frost and created her.. I am no coder.. I am learning very slowly when it comes to coding The people that coded her did a good job i think for an alpha Feedback is great as long as it isn't mean or insulting.. Like how you showed that hitbox thing for her air throw.. That was not mean Also if you guys see a lot of problems with her code it's probally because it is an alpha release.. And also if anyone wanted to make a patch for the mistakes in coding i wouldn't mind or object to it I'm an understanding person It seems a lot of your above comments were your preference and should have no effect either way(the guy who wrote that review).. All her attacks stun you because she is a telepathy, The psychic mirage attack does not stun you it confuses you.. This is an alpha she will have many other releases with better code she will have a release with diamond form and another with astral form.. It is actually rather hurtful that you would have so much negative comments about my first character release that I spent two years spriting. Also im not trying to be mean by we did not give you guys permission to host her here so if i can please ask the admins to take her down and shut down this topic it would be great..
