How is it "useless" ? The most important part of a character is gameplay. As long as he has all the required mechanics, he's good in my book. Of course, CVS sprites would add more feeling to it, that's obvious, but if the creator doesn't want to, nothing obliges him to edit hundreds of sprites ...

Yes, yes... the gameplay is the frist thing! ;) the creator can do whatever he wants! my was just a personal thought...  :sugoi:

This release is not about a character with sprite edits, but only about a character using CVS2 grooves. Your stupid comment only shows you have no idea of how hard it is to edit sprites, and how much time and effort it would take.

The palette used for the character is meant to give a CVS-like feeling, but the sprites aren't edited at all, because that wasn't the point in the first place. So, you're clueless, your commentary was off, and you should GTFO.

Escuse me  :S, but my was only a comment (and wanted to be positive  ;D I dont know what you understand), and I know how hard is edit sprites... I see the char still KOF style, and I just wondered if you had in mind to convert the sprites in CVS, because making a char in CVS style only with CVS stats would be useless, it takes the CVS graphics... that's all   ;)

Its a good conversion in CVS but only in stats (explod, hits, etc...)! where is the graphic conversion?!? The graphic style is still in KOF...  :sugoi:

Just noticed that MK and HK hurricane kicks just look like sped up LK hurricane kick, and that MK and HK versions have seriously absurd powergain (blocking it gives him like ~400 power, which is far too much).

EDIT: Further testing shows that N-Groove is done really wrong. When activating Max Mode with HP+HK, you're supposed to be able to do level 3 supers with 1 or more powerstocks. For some reason, Orochi Anime (QCB, QCF+HP, not HCBx2+P as the image denotes) and Super Power (Dx3+HP) both need to be done at level 3, regardless of N-Groove's Max Mode or not.

Take for example, Yoko Ritona. Her HCBx2+P is a level 3 super, but in N-Groove's Max Mode, can be done at level 1. Orochi Ken's setup doesn't abide by CvS' ways.

Yes Gill you're right!! Hurricane kick have absurd powergain I'll fix it... :sugoi: but Orochi Soul and Super Earth Power its the original Extra Moves (are moves that should be very aura) and run only to full power (level 3 MAX EX-groove, level 3 MAX N-groove, etc...) and not at level 1 or level 2 with press HP + HK how Yoko... but if it's a problem I'll try fix also this...  ;)

super earth power looks a bit cheap, but i think you want to make a kickass ken, right?

All you did was take the KOF sprite and remove the darkest shades, making this a palette edit. The sprite would have to extensively reworked (pixel by pixel) to achieve the desired effect.

Yes, pixel by pixel reworked... I try! ;)

I think that Krauser from the Real Bout series is a better base to convert him to CvS than the KoF counterpart!

And it's much more cooler too!

Ummh... It's not a bad idea! ::) but Real Bout Krauser not is too big and large for this conversion?

Orochi's energy pillar has some pink near the top center. Just thought I'd let you know.

Oh yes!! :sugoi: its pink of trasparent color!!! pink near the top center its little darkest of pink of trasparent!!! I fix now!!!

It's not because he's orochi, he looks out of place because the sprites have completly different styles.

Yes Paul, maybe before the sprites were a orochi other style (KOF) but now in the beta 0.1 I have changed the sprites and I created orochi style CVS... :D looks here:

I found your beta at Mugenchina and...

...All supers have normal Ken startup voices.

Ok, orochi gill...
1) Orochi does not seem out of place in the intro, otherwise he would not be called ken orochi...
2) Yes, the start entry of intro is violent ken, but violent ken is the evolution of normal ken and ken orochi is the evolution of violentl ken... are all connected, that is because I included the voices of violent and normal ken...
3)And violent ken is under the influence of the soul of orochi, something else must remain ken, no longer would be another char... and then I'll remind you that it is always a beta!!!
