Do keep in mind that they're making "new" Gamecube Controllers with the smash logo on them... or least, that's what I assume, from the picture alone.

Which would not be a far-fetched idea, when you come into the idea that there may be people out there without a GC controller at all, or for those who have only purchased one and wish to have a second (or more). Not to mention the whole "wired" shebang which I suppose is a big deal with tournament players. And that's not even touching on the people who have broken controllers through wear and tear or other non-natural malfunctions.

Well, it's bittersweet news, to say the least. I like that controller just about as much as I like cancer, but if it at least gives a viable option to the pro scene, I'm fine with it.

Hell, I just want this game to end the divide between pro and casual, and all signs are pointing strongly to such a thing.

I'll just leave a small tidbit that I believe fits the GCC announcement.

You know that Sonic Freedom Fighters game?

That has a lot of Sonic-based stages, including Hill Top. Music is in MIDI, but it shouldn't be difficult to get the fanmade "Classic Generations" remixes off of YT.

Hrm. I have a fond recollection of watching ye ole DBZ as a child, and it wasn't really a big deal.

Am I the only one with the opinion that if there were someone to exist from the Namco series, it should be Siegfried?

I mean, Soul Calibur has appeared a couple of times on a Nintendo console, so there's that. And as recognizable as Pac-Man is, and whilst he does admittedly have enough of a repertoire for a moveset what with the Pac-Man World games, he doesn't really have a distinguishable fighting background. Even if you do count him in for SFxT, he had help from the Mokujin-bot, not only for moveset purposes, but also due to the height difference. Now of course, in Smash the height stuff is irrelevant, but that still leaves with a gap for some moves.

I'll be happy if he pops in regardless, but I would've preferred someone who has had a more prominent fighting background.

To be honest, I could care a little more about my posting quality, but it's far from being garbage, by my standards anyway.

For what it's worth, I would trust Titiln to tell me what he thinks. He's brutally honest, and I find that sort of shit rare nowadays, so I respect the hell out of the man.
