every time i play mugen i beat one fighter then it goes back to the main screen how do i change that so i have got to fight at least 10 fighters before the game ends

so i save an image as .pcx on photoshop then put it in "stages" then write "image name.pcx" in select.def ???
is that write if not could someone tell me how to do it

how do you transferr a jpg into a .sff or .def?? what one do you need to make a stage?

how do you make a .sff and def file?? do you have to have both to create a stage??
i have looked through system.def and still dont know how to change the selection screen ??? could you please help me a little more
