Probably a crappy setup for the .cmd

Check if there's a QCF command changestate with Z above your current one. If there is, move the super version to just under the line [Statedef -1], that's the changestate, not the command.

sorry, no idea what yur talkin about >_< I included some screenshots below of what I tried to do:

original .cmd file:

my edited commands in the .cmd file:

and I took a screenshot of this part of the .cmd file just incase lol..:

and for those who forgot what this thread is about, I'm tryin to get my edited commands to work. and if it helps with anything, I can execute the edited Arctic Attack once every 10 tries.. which is quite weird..

It could be because you're adding commands that already exist and if you add 2 commands with different results, they'll cancel each other out. In other words: make sure that the same command doesn't exist with a different attack planned in mind
lol.. it's a MvC character.. MvC characters don't have the "D, DF, F, D, DF, F" movements.

Whenever I edit commands for a character, I copy the command I'm going to edit, paste it back in the command file, and edit the newly pasted command.

Try that. 8)

tried it.. doesn't help at all.

I went into some of my marvel characters' commands and edited them. I changed Iceman's Arctic Attack from "D, DF, F, x+y+z" to "D, DF, F, D, DF, F, z", basically becuase this is the command setup I'm used to for doing super special moves.

then I tried to run Mugen and do that command to execute an Arctic Attack.. and it didn't work...

ALSO, I tried changing it to a simple "z" button.. then ran mugen and tried to do the special and it still doesn't work..

what am I doing wrong?
