I have a suggestion I probably should've voiced earlier. I think the characters should be doing their victory poses while in the mirror since that would've made more sense to me...I dunno. Just an idea.

Thanks for ripping the intro... how were you able to get the lower-right portion of the armour?  o_O

That'd make a great big portrait. Just that the sky has to be cut out, and I was too lazy to do that.  ;P


Of all things, I'm having trouble cropping the sprites. Cropping in Fighter Factory screws up the palettes for his non-shared sprites. Will try in the newest MCM instead.

Oh, and one more bug to fix; he doesn't get pushed back during his standing guard. Accidentally overwrote the HitVelSet.  --;

Next version will fix that, Dragonfire negation, and add a standard throw to his custom mode.


EDIT: After this, would you guys prefer me to add one more custom move (anti-air command grab), or start on a new Warzard character (most likely Ravange)? The custom stuff would make him more complete as a fighter, but the effort:results ratio isn't as good as standard creation.
Please please PLEASE don't stop and add custom stuff!!!!

Warzard bosses have been wanted in mugen for a long time now. And Ravange has been probably the most wanted out of all of them. (The only one I ever saw people mention as much is Valdoll)

More reasons?

1- Blade already has an anti air move. His forward rush sword swipe is perfect for knocking airborn opponents away (better then any grab would be)
2- Blade is already an extremely difficult character. (Beatable with normal stuff, but very hard)
3- Blade is never going to be able to be a non boss type character due to his lack of animations and moves. (Ravange would be a MUCH better character to add custom content for due to the fact he's a full character with some comboability)
4- Blade is already very difficult. He doesn't need more moves to be better because he's already hard enough, and if you don't watch he'll become a "evil" Type character and be ruined since no normal stuff will be able to win anymore.

I strongly urge you to move on after the next update and make Ravange. Not only because I really like him but, I know alot of people who have wanted him for a long time. And because he's a much better, nicer character in his game accurate form, too.

Plus, remember, you could always go back after releasing Ravange and give Blade a second throw or something if you really wanted. Although as I said before I think it's pointless since he's already very hard now, and he just doesn't need more moves.


2 and 4 are the same. :P

Still, I'd love to have all the Red Earth characters.

Additionally Blade is meant to be a sub-boss, in my opinion that means he should have boss attacks and normal character defense. Giving him normal character attacks is sorta...not along my lines.

We sorta have a lack of a Red Earth Hydron. CFJ, yes, MvC, yes, but not the original...but that's like asking for Red Earth and Warzard for the same christmas. :P

Also I noticed my sprites are slightly thinner than yours. I don't know why, it probably has something to do with the pixel aspect ratio.

I would've ripped more but I accidentally pressed F3 instead of F4 when I got to the next part.

I assume you can do the rest?

In terms of my opinion over Ravange or more moves, I prefer true-to-arcade characters, and I sorta like the idea of playing Ravange (Gi Gi sounds good too). But I respect Kung Fu Man so I'm okay if you choose more moves.

Edit: I believe I'm missing the weird ring thing that goes around Blade before his cape, mantle, and sword are summoned. I certainly hope you can rip that okay. If not I'd be happy to do so.

Doggiedoo, I'm one of those weirdos who finds tile ripping fun. ;D

I'm currently trying to rip Blade's intro from the tiles. It won't be long for me to finish, I think.

I have the full version in a .PSD.

Edit: I've got the emerald coming in, two frames of dust, and four frames of the armor so far. I'll continue working on it on Saturday.
