I just wanna to know if someone could rip the sprites and music from double dragon 2 NES version.put it into mugen but have the same gameplay as the nintendo version to make it a old school fighting game. but this time make the bad guys playable characters. stage 1-9 bosses and small level enmies. like double dragon 1 versus mode but this time.... MAKE TWO MODES arcade mode and have mode 2 called death match mode. like stage 1 cliffs and stage 2 helicopper. stage 3 suck into death door stage 4 ..not a good one. Stage 5 tree top. STAGE 5.2 MOVING TRAIN with the brown arnold sportsnager lookin dude. stage 6 disapparing grounds. stage 7 DAMN I forgot. stage 8 forgot to. but if some body can try to make it it would be great!!!!!!!

Mugen is not just based around the world of Mortal Kombat. There are other mugen creations that come from basic idea, anime, doujin games, Neo Geo games, ect. Your whole argument on this is too broad and doesn't give any explanation why you dislike it.

But Mugen isn't a rom hack. Yes, there are Mugen "hacks", but they're more so additional programming that alter the way Mugen acts.
But the sprites were ripped, as in had pictures taken of a characters sprites, and had work done on it.

But Mugen isn't a rom hack. Yes, there are Mugen "hacks", but they're more so additional programming that alter the way Mugen acts.

We are Mugen Creators and users, not hackers. (Although some might be). Truth is we like Mugen and creating for Mugen and it is time consuming. why would we take time to hack some roms when we could be creating new content or even converting MK chars for normal Mugen?

why would we take time to hack some roms when we could be creating new content or even converting MK chars for normal Mugen?
OKAY CAUSE MK MUGEN GAMES HAS PROMISED AND LOOKED TO BE GOOD BUT MOSTLY HAS BEEN TERRIBLE OR UNBEATABLE, AND MUGEN IS TOO BUGGY BY PUTTING IT ON A SEGA OR N64 EMULATOR NO BUGS NOSPYWARES AND NO RIPOFFS GAMES. I'M PRETTY GOOD AT FIGHTING GAMES. EXAMPLE MK PROJECT 4.1 WAS OKAY BUT NO FATALITYS OR STAGE FATALS AND NO BRUTAL MKP 4.3 WAS BETTER ONLY CAUSE MORE CHARACTERS. MK ANTHOGLY WAS TOO BUGGY THAT A FAN COULD FINSH A ROUND AND JUST LIKE MKP,MK OVERDOSE WAS BASICALLY MKP. AND MK BLOODSTORM CREATOR LIES TO US AND KEPT US WAITING UNTIL HE GOT A VIRUS ON HIS HARD DRIVE AND NOW BECAUSE OF HIS SELFISH ACTION WE HAVE TO WAIT TIL 2013 AND I DON'T THINK IT WILL EVER COME OUT!

- Mugen is not an emulator.
- MK MUGEN sucks.
- You cannot take a character from mugen and put it into a sega genesis emulator.

THAN THE RUSSIANS CAN PUT OTHERS MUGEN CHARACTERS IN IT JUST TAKE REPLACE DA CHARACTERS FROM UMKT AND PUT DA CUSTOM CHARACTERS IN IT CAN HOLD 6MB.
AND FAR AS DA N64 ISSUE. IF SIMPLEBAND CAN HACK OR RIP CHARACTERS, BOTH FROM THE N64 AND PSX EMULATOR VERSION, OF MKM:SUB ZERO AND.. PUT THEM INTO MUGEN. THEN WHY CAN'T DEY PUT IT IN SEGA EMULATOR WHICH QUAN CHI (MKM VERSION) WAS IN.

LIKE HAVE ALL DA REALISTIC MKM CHARACTERS example fire god,silver guards,scropion,fujin,quan chi,sareen,jarkeen,hulk monk,sword monk,water god,shinnok,sub zeroand earth boss and buzzsaw robot as bosses.but da rest AS SELECTABLE CHARCTERS WITH EACH THEIR OWN STAGE
INCLUDING SUB ZERO. AND EACH CHARCTER LEAST HAVE ONE FATALITY AND BRUTALITY. WITH STAGE FATALITYS IN EACH STAGES. like in da shaolin temple a person is crush by the pillars, windstage uppercut off da roof and earth stage impale by spikes and water stage da oppent explodes by elctric eills
