yeah i know, she has a more traditional style of karate. i just hate the fact that that move is so awkward to use.  i've been working on two other alternatives to her fukiage that keep her planted on the ground and i'll post those soon.  thanks for the feedback by the way

And i didn't need google, my job is a hardware tech for an IT company, i know ntdll.dll is an OS file cos i've seen it cause problems on any number of laptops.

that's funny because i'm using FF on my laptop.  turns out i'm getting the error again, it almost seems like it works just fine as long as i make the palette really quickly.  it's alright though, i've learned to use photoshop to create palettes.  i was hoping FF would be a one stop program to create a character from start to finish, but nothing is ever that simple.  slowly but surely i'm making progress, in fact i have a pic to post so look for it in the WIP section, i'd love to hear some feedback.

so far so good.  that advice to use bmp instead of pcx seems to be working beautifully.  i'm still amazed at how quickly you guys respond on these forums and i have to say thanks again.  now i can continue on my way to creating a character which i will definitely post here (if that's ok [i skimmed through the forum rules  --; sorry])

first off, i can't believe how quickly you replied to my post.  thank you so much for your prompt assistance.  i did keep my originals (it took too damn long to make them to overwrite them) they are png files though so i hope that doesn't affect the advice you gave.  I will try changing them to bitmap and then bringing them into fighter factory.  i was hoping that starting ff with pcx images would make it easier but oh well.  thanks again for you swift response and i'll let you know how it turns out.

I'm new to mugen creation (character of otherwise) and i keep getting an error in fighter factory.  When i go to create palettes it seems as though there is an 80 percent chance i get the following errors:

access violation at address 774B3387 in module 'ntdll.dll' write of address 00000014

access violation at address 00423329 in module 'ff32.exe' read of address at 03A62168

these errors may switch up numbers but they usually pop up every time i move the mouse after their initial appearance.  It sounds like something really simple but i'll be honest, i have almost no skill in programming, coding, anything so i'm lost.  The error message usually comes up when i try to optimize an image to create a palette.  Sometimes the image works and sometimes i get that error message.  The image files are 256 pcx files that i converted using irfranview.  I spent hours just organizing and ripping sprites and now i can't even get started on putting them together.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  If you need anymore info please ask.
