If it helps, im running windows on 1900x1200 resolution on a 17" widescreen high def LCD.

my GPUs are Dual Nvidia Geforce 8700GTS (or 8700 something)

I'm having this same issue.

When i used XP, alt enter would full screen.

Now with vista it does nothing. Everything i've tried doesnt work.

I would really like it if some vista user would help me/us out
