oh ok  i kind of figured things that were coded properly would work just like that i just had to make sure. That 2003 thing was really bothering me.

as for the win quotes that should be amusing. Though about fixing certain things what needs manual fixing if you have something specific. Besides the things on Elecbytes site and stuff.

Anyways thank you for the answer Kawaii-Desu.

I'm not sure were to ask this so ill just post this here.

I have a confusing question about mugen 1.0. I  know that mugen 1.0 can run old characters. In the Docs and History and all that,  it refers to them as 2002 versions. I know this is done by the "mugen version" parameter in the character .def. If it says 2002 instead of 1.0 this is how it recognizes that its an old character and treats it accordingly.

However  there are a few characters that have a 2003 date (like some of Waru's chars and some of Pots old ones before he updated). So for any that might say 2003 or anything else other than 2002 or 1.0 do i have to manually change that to 2002 so that it is treated as old and apply all the backward compatibility things. Or does the engine treats anything as old by default as long as it does not say 1.0?

Oh wow yes another sengoku basara character. Usually recognize these characters from koei samurai warriors but since this is the closest they will be to being "mugenised" this is really awesome. He is a little stiffer than most characters but since i haven't played the original game since it does not really get released out here much, i assume thats how it is. Hopefully he continues to make more of these. like Nobunaga Oda or something. But yhea i think this is a really cool character and different look on Masamune date. so thats Keiji and Masamune made. Two down.

well im a little late to this conversation but im also on the cloud is overrated side mostly due to Final fantasy 7 being milked waaay to much.  im more of a squall fan myself just because he actually grows from being an ass to someone who believes  in friendship, love all that stuff which you actually believe the change.not to mention he may dress emo but in the end he really is not. not as much as cloud anyways. so yeah just my opinion. everyone has theirs :sugoi: though as Iced said my favorite RPG is also chrono trigger along with FF8  :-X Magus and Frog FTW indeed

man this is bad news i just hope this does not change the koei warriors series  im a big fan of them because they have always stuck whit a  formula instead of changing horribly just to get new fans (final fantasy 12 for example). so im more concerned about what this will do to their games rather than Tecmo. i may be one of the few but just my opinion  :-X   or basically i agree 110 % with Chosis

I'm a fan of the Warriors games, so naturally I think all the Koei-bashers here can go jump off a cliff, but despite that I'm a little cautious about this merger.  That said, it seems like the merger is very much just for the money; I think each company will keep their games divisions relatively seperate.  Besides, did anyone feel the later Final Fantasies were more like Dragon Quest, or vice versa?

The only thing that would make me happier is him getting his mask back.lol
