The only thing I think that's relevant about CN is Adult Swim and South Park. But that doesn't mean they're dead.

Of all the cartoons I grew up with, G1 Transformers holds up the best to adult standards. Thundercats, He-Man and the Turtles are hard to watch.
The Real Ghostbusters wasn't bad though....honorable mention.

Ren & Stimpy was the last kid cartoon that I could watch. I always did watch the Simpsons but I see them more as an adult cartoon that's kid friendly.

Of the more modern stuff...

American Dad
Family Guy
Transformers Prime (2nd best TF show behind G1)
Most of the DC and Marvel animated movies.

I can't find a thread for this and I don't know why cause this shit is solid!
I assume it's set in the late 80s or 90s and they're doing a great job of keeping that feel (even though in one episode they focused in on a nYc subway car that wasn't introduced until the 2000s)

The cast is top notch. Gordon's partner (former temporary captain of the SVU on Law & Order), Jada Plinket, Sean Pertwee all lend credibility to the show.
I was thinking I would hate little Bruce Wayne but I think he's doing great.
I thought Smallville was fantastic and this is turning out to be better.

Anyone else notice how much "Doctor Who" is on American network TV now?

Karen Gillan has ABC's Selfie.
David Tennant is in Fox's Gracepoint.
And Sean Pertwee (3rd Doctor's son) is Alfred in Fox's Gotham.

When I was a kid the only time I remember seeing anyone outside of the show was Patrick Troughton getting impaled in the Oman.

Anyway....

I used to be a bully. I don't remember picking on a lot of kids, but the ones I did I felt deserved it at the time. I wasn't the type to seek it out but if a kid said something insulting, or pissed me off, or did something stupid on a personal level, I'd smack him around on somewhat of a regular basis.

I remember in the 3rd grade, this kid called Ejaz. I thought his name was so weird, and out of curiosity I asked him about it but he got insulted and said some shit so I pulled him closer to me by his hair and smacked him in the face. That continued for the rest of the year.

But later that faithful year, God punished me with Ali. Ali  was in the 4th grade but had gotten left back so he was 2 years older. He happened to be a little crazy, and the classic definition of a bully.
One day during class time, I brought papers to the office for my teacher. On the way back, at other end of the empty hallway comes Ali. He ignored me until he got right next me...which was when he started saying "The British are coming. The British are coming." He jumped on me, got me in a headlock, spun me around a couple times and threw me on the floor. He must've hit my nose when getting me in the headlock cause I was busted wide open. I felt so terrible. I was victimized. I didn't tell the teachers or anything...my nose was easy to explain cause it used to bleed if I farted too hard. I had never been on that end of the equation by someone that close in age.

That weekend a couple of friends and I found Ali. We chased him, caught him, beat him up, threw a trash can on top of him, sat on it, kicked and punched it, and when we let him out he staggered into the street and got hit by a car. He broke his arm. It supposedly was broken in half but we left too quick to see.

I like some nice Irish Spring bars. Having them around also helps keep the bathroom smelling fresh after big stinky shits.

You can start it off with some social commentary by having roaches eat some GMO bananas causing them to become super roaches that are here to wipe out humans and reclaim the earth.

World War Z meets Sharknado meets the last episode of Creepshow

As for a game....I still can't think past an open world, 3rd person view, action adventure game where Freddy Krueger runs around and just stabs and kills and slices and slashes anybody and everybody. I don't even need a plot.

It proves that Dusty Rhodes knows how to produce a good wrestling show. I get the feeling that they don't fuck with him so much cause they're not really worried about NXT.

Also I think Suave Dude's half right. The booking wouldn't be as fucked up if they knew what direction to go in. They're trying to be kid friendly and adult oriented at the same time. John Cena is the beacon for this, and for awhile I was liking this aspect. I've never seen anything like this before...someone so equally hated as they are loved.
I like it cause it's different but I think it's a bad sign. An audience shouldn't be fragmented like this. You can split an audience between two wrestlers but not one.
Unless they can come up with some way of finding a middle ground that doesn't offend the older crowd or the parents of the kid crowd , they're gonna have to choose a side.
Or maybe this whole thing is a ploy to lose all their ratings, forcing USA to cancel them; then they could put Raw exclusively on the Network. If the only way to see WWE was through the Network I think subscriptions would go through the roof. 

I love the Network. I'm watching the Road Warriors documentary. I love it, it's great. If they put up ALL the old MSG tapings....they'd have me for at least another 6 months.
