It would be easy enough to do. The best way to do it would be with a 'PreviousValue' trigger. Example:

trigger1 = PreviousValue(Var(1)) != Var(1)

Sorry for the delays, everyone. It has been busy at work & I'm getting off the night shift. It usually takes me a week or two to shift my sleeping patterns correctly, so I won't be doing much until then.

In xnaMugen news, the next version should be out in a few days. I'll have the new drawing system, shadows & reflections.

I created a quick test to better understand why some people have palettization errors with xnaMugen. If you have such errors, please download & run this program. It should should the exact same image below. If it doesn't, please post a picture of what is does draw with the graphics card of you computer. If the program crashes, please post the error message. I've fixed the issue with afterimages & palfx. Next up if the font issue. Once I have all the drawing issues fixed, I'll upload the new version.

After spending a good deal of time on this, it looks like it is a video card issue. The reason I was unable to fix this is because it doesn't happen on my two test computers. I'll most likely have to change the drawing system to fix this.

This is a test of a new drawing system I just finished. It should help with the drawing errors xnaMugen has. I can't test it myself because my test computers don't have this problem. Please test & leave feedback.

IIRC, the PalFX parameters are buggy in mugen. The R component doesn't work as it should be.

This is awesome information. Is there a list of bugs and quirks of the MUGEN engine somewhere? It would save me a lot of time.

The documentation is nice and all, but it doesn't help when what the documentation says should happen and what actually happens doesn't match. All afterimage behavior in xnaMugen follows the documentation nearly perfectly.

OK, the reason afterimages do not draw correctly is that the 'PalBright' & 'PalContrast' lines of the 'AfterImage' state controller do not do what the documentation states they do. 'PalContrast' seems to tint red no matter what & I have no clue how 'PalBright' affects the resulting color. All the other parts of the state controller follow the documentation. Any help on this?
