Which girl from Monster Musume is your favorite?
I've done my own pros and cons list of the girls, based on my current lifestyle, their personalities, type of species.  What would your pro and cons list look like?

Do you think fans would start rioting if Kimihito ended up marrying a human girl instead?
Are the two Raidou games worth checking out?

Yeah, Sensui's allies were pretty cool.  It just sucks that after good buildup, the main man himself isn't as cool.  They had everything going good with him

using his smarts to predict Yusuke's moves.  But everything fell apart after they brought in all the extra power ass-pulls.

I don't expect much from this last arc, but I going to marathon-watch the remaining episodes through today and tomorrow before the new year happens.

Yu Yu Hakusho and Outlaw Star are the only anime updates I have to offer.  Even though it was a couple of weeks ago, I felt skeptical of how OS' ending would turn out.  Whenever it isn't obvious how an anime is going to end, I always get a "Evangelion ending" feeling (i.e- it's going to be terrible.).
The ending was fine, but I think they rushed the whole thing after the hilarious hot springs episode.

Yu Yu Hakusho doesn't escape criticism either.  The long drawn out battle against Sensui was ridiculous.  At most, (Young) Toguro only took three episodes to die and I felt a bit more satisfied with that battle.

There's other stuff I haven't detailed, but you get the point

How do you feel about me replacing the Angel Attack remix music for your Evangelion stage with this monster?

Do you think Anno is going to screw up once again with Evangelion 4.0?

I was going to start my absence/dedicating internet usage to watching anime today, but then I saw these responses
Have you been into MGS long?
Since I got a PS2 and played MGS2 in 2009.  I never got back into the series until I finally came to MGS4 and completed the last of it.
But I'm not calling it quits.
Goldeneye 64 was fairly difficult to 100%, especially with the Aztec level on 00 Agent.  While I came to know that level like the back of my hand, I would sometimes forget to open the exhaust bay before I went after Jaws or I would be extremely close to beating it and got killed by a laser shot coming from a distance.  (Jaws is is easily beaten, due to the "enemy can't do anything at close range" problem.  But then you have to deal with endless laser totting guards while you backtrack all the way to the bulletproof glass room with the hard drive.)
Don't get me started on the invincibilty cheat, because that took me a few weeks to get.  Ditto with the Caverns time trial on 00 Agent and the blue-capped bullet sponge guards.  But I persevered, figured out strategies, and even watched a few videos.

MGS1 Snake's grenade missions will just require some thinking and luck.  All of the other weapon missions will be monotony.  If necessary, at least ChildofAsuka covered the other weapon missions before he ragequited.  A pity that he doesn't cover the the final two hold-up missions though.

Provided nothing happens to the save data from this game:

Before that happens...
-Is the Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha series worth a try? The jazzy soundtrack caught my interest and from a few gameplay videos I've seen, it doesn't look too shabby.  It may be also less religiously offensive too, so it might fly in my household.  (Even then, my dad probably wouldn't care.)

Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance
These VR Missions are making me start to dislike MGS.  Up until I unlocked Tuxedo Snake, nearly all of the missions took intelligence or strategy to get the top high score (or if I was in doubt, I consulted ChildOfAsuka's top score FAQS).  But the majority of Tuxedo Snake's missions required speed or some luck.  I only got a top high score on Variety Level 1 because of luck (and ammo conversion.).

But now I've got more hell coming my way in the form of MGS1 Snake.  No grenade launcher for the grenade weapon missions and probably a whole lot worse.  I had to take a short break tonight because the last three PSG-1 missions pissed me off.
Luckily, I only have Pliskin's final Stinger missile mission and Tuxedo Snake's final no weapon mission to revisit in order to get the top scores (and change their names from yellow to orange) on.

MGS1 Snake's missions will probably make me go insane

Yeah, regular Sailor Moon.  With three Sailor Scouts on board, whatever filler that shows up will be do-able.
I just didn't like having to wait seven episodes until Mercury showed up.  Tokyo Mew Mew only took 2 episodes to expand the team to three Mews.  After that, they had filler for a few episodes and then they brought Pudding and Zakuro in.

I wouldn't consider episodes that expand on the character personalities or develops them filler, per say.  My definition of filler is episodes that don't add anything to the plot or character development.

I'm thankful to Viz Media that I don't have to go the sub route with Sailor Moon.
From the clips I've seen, the original dub was an abomination.  As for this new dub, I haven't come across any pitfalls yet.  One interesting feature to note is that the manga author personally chose all of the VAs for the new dub.

As for the series itself, I can see why people accused Tokyo Mew Mew of being a copy.
But since I watched TMM first, I was starting to get a bit impatient waiting for the second Sailor Scout to appear.  (Not to mention Usagi's reluctance to fight.  It's been two years since I saw TMM, but I think Ichigo grew into her role a lot quicker.)  Now that Mercury and Mars have shown up, the series should hold my interest.

Meanwhile, Outlaw Star is nearing its conclusion and Yu Yu Hakusho's post-Dark Tournament arc just keeps getting more interesting.

Not much to be honest.  Some things that would constitute a resolution with me would take more than a year.
But I'll throw a few into the ring.
-Grow a backbone and quit letting negative criticism demotivate/depress me
-Put more focus on my novels and quit letting other projects take priority
-Get a better job
-I guess.... regain the interest in anime I had back in 2012?

-I don't know and I don't care, that was one of the worst things I ever did.
I still remember you beating in MVC3 vanilla on a live twitch stream at 2:00 AM (in my time zone) back in 2011.  One of the reasons I abandoned that custom Weiss I was going to made.  (I don't have any intentions of reviving any time soon since there are far better conversions/edits of Weiss out there.)

Oh well, what happens in the past stays in the past
Also, don't expect much in terms of story with Graces.  Just the main characters spouting out "friendship" and not much else.  Despite that, the gameplay is pretty good.  But I've come to like Xillia's gameplay much better.  The characters in Xillia are also much better, barring Jude, after Chapter 3.

-Any other favorite RPG series besides FE and Tales?
-What are your fondest memories of the (old) Toonami?
-Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star or Trigun?
-Most hilariously bad dub you've ever heard?

If not for changing 2A's animation and adjusting the state, I would just have posted the modified .cns,.cmd,and .air files in a seperate .rar file.  Well, I think that's about it for now.

As David Gilmour later said of The Final Cut, "Good enough."  While my character isn't the greatest thing ever released, I'm satisfied.

So my mind thought of taking a scene from the final episode of Cowboy Bebop and adding personal dumbass let's play commentary to make it seem like a cutscene from a shooter.
Spoiler: Plot spoilers, obviously (click to see content)

If that is all my mind can come up for an improved version of this AMV, then this is dead.  Either that or find something else.

While I've been working third shift, I have blown through nearly every non video game/anime album on my phone.
Since I'm looking for something new... Jango, what are Yes' quintessential albums?  Any personal recommendations?  What's not even worth listenining to?

Jango, I watched that AMV you mentioned and saw parts of how it could be funny.  However, I think it requires quite some familarity with Sailor Moon's characters.  I got that the song was Weird Al's parody of "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies.

Umezono:
That's one issue of whatever mental disorder I have.  My late mother said I had something called "Einstein Syndrome", but I'm convinced that it is autism instead. Hence my various embarrassments due to taking most things I hear literally.  That's been there since childhood.  The tendency to analyze (or over-analyze) things and obsessing over stuff like it is a major part of my life stems from it too.

I'm not asking for sympathy but I can't say if that explains some of my stupidity.  Recently, I get a strange feeling from being called stupid or weird.  Like I feel like I deserve it.
Oy, this is getting off-topic..

Not helpful at all.

At least Jango's feedback gets me thinking after it settles in.
The second idea for using dialogue from MGS doesn't work anymore because the dramatic music ruins it.
Even with isolating the vocals, it still doesn't work.  The series has plenty of campy dialogue, so something good is bound to come along.

The first part with the interview from The Move song would fit better with clips from an ecchi anime. (Tenchi Muyo doesn't work in retrospect.)
As mentioned before, the part with Shinji listening to the character from killer7 still works.  The preacher style, campy tone Cam Clarke has with the dialogue sells it.  What matters is how people at a convention would react.  The parody of the elevator scene from Evangelion would work better with changed dialogue at the end, whether if it takes me rewriting the script or finding a game/movie with fitting dialogue.

Leaves space for new skits/parodies.

I dunno if this would be a good piece of advice but
Do you enjoy making stuff like this? Do you yourself find your content funny? Because if not, then why even bother?
The most important part about making content (Mugen, dumb videos, fanfiction reading, etc.) is the experience, and what you learn and create from it. You make it seem like a job when this kind of thing is more of a hobby if anything.

The AMV was hilarious to me until I switched my focus to trying to make the lip sync better.  Then it became a job.  To see that the Chobits segments are crap makes me regret the time I wasted trying to make lip sync somewhat passable.  But then again, those segments lost their hilarity after the first few times.
I still find the two Evangelion segments funny, and the Welcome to the N.H.K/Tommy Boy remains kind of enjoyable to me.

All I learned from this was that no matter what I do, how much time I put into it.. it ends up gaing negative reception in the end.  About the only positive thing to me right now is
"Now my MUGEN character feels more like Blitzkampf thanks to increased pausetime.  Along with that, changing 2A's animation has also increased combo opportunities.  I finally feel like I'm doing something!"

This AMV... I don't know.  I might as well can it and try again years later.
I would just like to have someone come up to me and tell me "You did a good job with creating that" or "My day sucked, but your creation made it better. Thank you." with no sarcasm behind it.
Better than getting negativity and continuing to feel like shit every day.

Half of this AMV was either terrible or too referential.  If you have any other creations, you would understand.  Daniella isn't even perfect, with me only seeing that I didn't increase some pausetimes and misc. problems that I didn't see until I did a short run through Arcade Mode yesterday.  Chaos (the thing with recolored Lucas sprites) was a mockery that hasn't been lived down.

This AMV was good up until I exposed it to the internet and got brutally honest feedback.  I have an idea of taking clips from Cowboy Bebop with Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine synched to dialogue from MGS1 (The part where Meryl asks how Snake recognized her and he responds by saying "you have a cute butt"):

I would flash a short clip of a scene from episode 3 to make it funny to even the unfamilar.
People at a convention wouldn't say "WHY IS THERE FUCKING METAL GEAR IN THIS."  They'd laugh.  The unfamilar would get it (thanks to the short clip of Faye's butt appearing on the screen for a moment) and Cowboy Bebop fans would get it because Faye's clothes are tight up to the point where she might as well be having a wedgie 24/7.  MGS fans would get a kick out of it too.  Win-win for everybody.

Makes much more sense than the scenes from Chobits synched to audio of Colonel Campbell going crazy in MGS2.

But no, I don't see that crap immediately.  I don't realize how mediocre something is until I release it and embarrass myself.

Also MGS2 has gotten boring and difficult.  Tuxedo Snake's VR missions rely more on speed than creative thought to get top high scores.

I just like to analyze things a lot.  I only shared the document, just in case people were interested in the creative process, what could've been in the AMV, and a few beta elements.

The Evangelion elevator scene mockery is salvagable, the strange phone call Shinji receives would actually be to other people, and I should've used the other part of that scene from Napoleon Dynamite ("Why'd you eat all the frickin' chips, Kip?" Napoleon's dialogue would still be synched to Yusuke, while Kip's dialogue would be synched to Kuwabara.).

It's a failed video of parodies with too much referential humor.  In retrospect, the Tommy Boy segment now feels it was made in desperation to get the video closer to five minutes.  I'm probably going to remove the video later today.
And every damn creation I make sucks, regardless of how much time I put into it.
