I'm getting frustrated with trying to make a logo intro for my MUGEN game. It has two logos: one of Elecbyte and my logo. I'll upload the .def and .sff soon, but something's not right. I'm thinking it's either the image file, the converter, Fighter Factory, or me doing something wrong, but Elecbyte's logo shows up fine but mine won't show.

Now, to let you know, yes, I had to convert my logo from .bmp to .pcx, and I'm thinking my conversion messed up the file. I dunno.

Unfortunately you can't. A bit of a development oversight, to say the least.
Remember that debug mode doesn't have to be on for debug keys to work, which means that there'll be no visual difference.

Yeah, but other people have been able to do it and also, my game is going to be a public one. It should be easier than that to select an AI.

Ugh, I might as well find a different fighter game maker. --;

Hey guys,

I'm really new here so please excuse this if it's really noob. I tried running a search but couldn't find much information on it.

When I play Arcade mode, my opponents are always much stronger than I am. Medium punches from any character take off a quarter of my health and if I'm unlucky enough to get combo'd I'm usually KO'd by the end of the sequence. I can't find any settings to change this, even the difficulty levels in the options menu didn't change anything.

Also some of my opponents are ridiculously hard. Any attack I make is reversed and I'm then combo'd to death without even laying a hit.

What am I doing wrong?

Easy. I have the same problem with Konata. I -kinda- suck with her, but fighting against her is like fighting a big huge indestructible iron spikeball. The thing is, I think your AICheat is turned on. At least that's what I call it. AICheat allows an opponent to do a command without actually having to press stuff (instantly hyper-ing, impossible superlong combos, etc.) It should be in mugen.cfg somewhere. If you want, you can turn it off.

what most people do is this

1) open the mugen.cfg file on notepad and change the configurations to allow debug keys.

2) go to watch mode, choose the characters you want.

3) when the fight starts, press ctrl+1. now you will be able to control the player 1 character.

Yeah but how do you do that without using debug keys? ???
