2. Ed boon stated that the main antagonist is going to be an "surprise returning character." so there is a high chance that liu kang is going to be resurected and  become an villian to avenge hes own death against raiden.

Or, you know... Shinnok? (although that would be admittedly less surprising)

Just wanted to say that this is a great idea.
The general theme of the Dead Rising games lends itself really well to a Beat 'em up game.

Some ideas if you're interested (please note I've never used the BOR engine so I'm not sure if any of this is possible):

1. Unlike other beat 'em ups where weapons are scarce and do a lot of damage, you could have the game littered with random objects with different attack properties. Since the game will be littered with them, they wouldn't do that much more damage than the standard weapon-less attacks. It's more about the properties of the attacks than anything (range, speed, effectiveness against specific enemies, etc...).

2. You could also make it so that if a character is holding a weapon and then goes to pick up another compatible weapon, that the weapons be combined just like Dead Rising 2-3. Otherwise, the weapon would be dropped and replaced with the other.

That's the issue, though... I'm not sure where to start. I know there should be another shade of red in there (which I've used black for) but I can't find a good palette reference in any real sprites for the remaining color (I used Magneto and Cyclops for this one).

I don't mean to get your hopes down or sound rude, but if you only have one sprite, then you don't have a sheet. "Spritesheet expansion" means that you have a full sheet to work with and simply want to add one or two new moves to it (e.g.: A running animation that was missing, a new special/super move that doesn't appear until a later game or doesn't appear in the same series the sheet belongs to, etc...).

This is not the ideal thread to ask someone to create the whole sheet for you, regardless of how much work may actually be involved.

I don't mind finding out more about a character's past. I just wish it wouldn't take a whole chapter to do it.

Also, I was under the impression that Guy wasn't limited to just Taijutsu, only Lee was... I figured Guy just happened to be so good at it that when Lee said he'd be the best at Taijutsu (since that's the only thing he could do), Guy decided to teach him everything he knew.

I understand, but this is an "expansion" thread. That means the sheet is practically finished/complete, except for one specific move that doesn't exist but you still want to add.

You can look at the Fei Long example. He had everything already except for a run move since there was no such move in SFA3. The sheet was complete, in a way... the Run animation is "expanding" the sheet so it can be used to incorporate the character into other play styles where characters need to be able to run.

Other examples can be found in the original Spritesheet Expansion thread. None of those animations are absolutely critical. They're just there to expand what can be done with the character and its available sprites.
