The first one, is actually pretty good, imo. Simple, but effective. :)

The M.U.G.E.N. logo in the second one seems to look like it was cut out of another image. It clashes a bit with the background.

ya, the second one is a little sharp around the edges, and the shadow from the letters looks a little funny but I was experimenting with a couple new effects in photoshop. thanx btw ;D

it should be sky stage on the cloud !!!!gosh that would be awesome

alrighty, Ill do a sky stage. mabey the characters could be fighting on the top of a jet, and I could have mabey 4 layers of clouds going really fast at different speeds depending on the layer to add depth.

i got it workin. I think the main problem is in your def file you had it directed to stages/blue.sff this only needs to be blue.sff because it is in the same folder as the def file. cool stage btw  :)

wow, that's a lot of things I didn't even notice really, all of which are fixable. well the rain I noticed, but I had already uploaded them lol

update coming soon  ;D

*edit*
finally finished with the update :P download links are in the first post.

btw, how do I make the puddle the only thing that reflects in the rain stage? I tryed taking the ground into a new layer, and cuting out the puddle. then I set it to layer 1 to be in the front of the characters and it worked, but the rain was always behind it...

O I see. cool thanx for the help man! it was about to drive me crazzy :S

*edit*
one more question.

is it the same for bound high?

low
((height - 240) divided by 2) divided by delta y = bound high

high
((height - 480) divided by 2) divided by delta y = bound high

I think I understand. center the image and use these formulas.

so for low res
width - 320 divided by 2 = bound left and right

and for high res
width - 640 divided by 4 divided by 2 = bound left and right

*edit*
the low res one worked! ya  :D

the way Ive been doing it is trial and error, and its so annoying. is there a way to come up with it by math (hate math but its easyer than trial and error :P) I heard somewhere that you get it by deviding the X axis by 3, or the width devided by 2 devided by 3. but it doesn't work...

and what is the concept of the bound left and right values? picture A, or picture B?

pic A

pic B
