Terraria. Because I hate myself.

Building a castle/courtyard that can house all the NPCs, remain functional (easy to enter/exit, have easy to access storage, crafting, lake, water/lava/honey generators, hellevator as well as defensible against bosses and hordes) while keeping it looking good. It's been an endeavor but I think I have the foundation set and now its all about decor. If it ends up looking good enough I'll copy the bricks/walls as a template for any future worlds I make and tweak it as needed, the decor can be what I work for in any future playthroughs.

Also trying Ranged out for the first time. I think I like Melee as well as Magic more.

I also got Zandronum working with my video card. So I can play coop Doom 2+mods online again! Yay!

I got Xenosaga II (thru Xmas gift card), Smash Bros Wii U, History of the World Part 1, new floor mats for my car, $$$, and got to hang out with family which was actually a really enjoyable experience this year, just about perfect! Except for the trip to New York.. fuck that city. I'll stick to DC/NoVA and occasionally Filthadelphia if I want the city.

I'm glad this is happening and hope it turns out well. I liked the special from a few years back with Vegeta's brother as a sort of light-hearted nostalgia fist to my chest.  And Battle of the Gods I liked even though the SSj God thing or whatever was dumb, the fighting was fun to see in more importantly I just like watching the crew interact with each other.. So hopefully there's more of that. :)

I never really had a problem with someone putting their privates on display. If a creator gives up on a project, then they give up. If they are just hyping a bunch of "Hey look at how pretty this is, but it is only for me and my best friend!" then never release anything public, then maybe it wasn't worth the release in the first place.

Granted I'm probably one of those guys anyway.. teasing people with my privates but never giving them a release.

It's one thing for a money making company to start hyping something up then cancel a project (and sometimes understandable unless its a Megaman game), when its just a guy/gal throwing shit together in their free time its just "eh whatever" if it never comes through, and props if it does even if it isn't a grand personage.

To many questions are left open for a definitive yes or no answer..
Does the robot have the ability to clean its own robo-snatch after I fire off my blaster?
Does the robot make grinding and churning sounds when using its hydraulic thrusters?
Does the robot have a human sounding voice or does it sound like MS Sam?
Does the robot fake an orgasm better than my last imaginary girlfriend?
Does the robot look like Sonic?
Does the robot cost more money than the biohazard on the street corner or the loose fitting cougar in the bar?
Does the robot's AI have a condition built in to laugh at my penis?

I love the last one where she goes down to suck her own dick at the end.

J/K I know she's just sad, I've been watching the Brill Park too. :)

I took a vacation day from work. Might play a spooky game like DooM or Hannah Montana for DS. I didn't buy any candy though, so I'm going to make like a hermit and turtle in.

Last game you stopped playing + brief review.

Megaman X4
These briefs are amazing! Fresh out of the hot dryer these fruit of the loom boxer briefs keep a snug fit where its wanted and loose where its needed. No intricate patterns or design, they kept these briefs simple and easy on the eyes but a quality fit. Controls are good, a slit in the front supplies easy access to the joystick, which is a bit smaller than I'd like it to be. They are also super absorbent, which is required for a gentleman like me, who soils himself at least once a night per week. Pick up a pair at your local Walmart today!

Logged in at work because I'm waiting for a meeting but to answer some questions:
Quote
Did u feed GarlickJR with Steroids? O_o
Dont recall he was so big before.
Benhazard made new sprites for him like 3 years back and I finally got them in, and fully reworked the characters gameplay with it.
Trunkz and 18 are getting the same treatment (and probably Yamcha too if I come back proper).

Quote
Geez, what's even going on in that shot? I can barely see the characters.
Deadzone. It looks better and clearer in motion. Also Garlic has a bunch of flames/smoke in front of him(part of the stage) which is probably covering him up pretty good.

Don't know how Mugen likes multiple opponents + friendly all in a custom hit state at once. So Dead Zone affects only one player at a time. :(
With that said it is now a regular super. Just have to make the void inversion to barf the surviving player out in the end.

Works pretty well though otherwise. Opponent has about 6-8 seconds to pummel Garlic Jr and cancel the Deadzone.

Rockman X3 (City Hunter beat me too it!) - Another one of my Super Famicom games finally got around to finishing it.

-The music in X3 is excellent its themed slightly different than X1, feels heavier, but kicks ass none-the-less.
-It's challenging, I always felt like X1 didn't get difficult until Sigma's fortress and X2 was slightly harder except for Sigma who was piss easy.
-Lots of really cool features were in X3. The Armor-piece upgrades (or gold armor), the choose-your-own riding armor, and the ability to play as Zero once (this was awesome and shitty at the same time, luckily X4 got it sorted). Also super secret Zero saber for X which I skipped because-
-Vile/Vava is back! Plus a couple optional bosses like in X2.

Only major negative:
-Many of the special learned weapons feel slow or near useless, unlike the other games.

Agreed with City Hunter that X1 is better, but X1 is almost a perfect game IMO. They did everything right with it.

I'm onto X4 next, which is about X2 level easy if memory servers.

Lol yeah my room mate was talking about how each character looked liek someone out of Street Fighter, or in the Big Boxer boss dude in the boats case, Bald Bull from punch out.

Thanks for the hints on MM7 btw, I forgot about the alt route by killing the pumpkin a special way (definitely remembered the Wily portrait and getting the Energy Converter when I was like 12 though) so my memory definitely failed there. Also got Proto-mans shield which I never actually knew about. Which leads me to the next game I finished:

Rockman 7
This game is as good as I remembered it being, in my opinion a worthy successor to the rest of the classic Megamans from the NES days, althought its more forgiving then some of the earlier generations. The final version of Wily brought back some reactionary childhood frustrations as soon as his music started, even though I had know idea what the boss was like as I;d forgotten. Once I died I remembered why! Anyway I barely beat him on my second try, thanks to some dumb long in his reappearing in the same low spot 4 times in a row and my getting some lucky dodges in.

On to Rockman X3 now to finish out the SNES generation of the Rockman series', then onto the PSX ones bar maybe Megaman 8, I'll play MM:Legends in place of that. :) Maybe I'll also decide to stay consistent and say Rockman or Megaman instead of mixing them both in the same post...

Streets of Rage 2
This is a classic for the Genesis, my all time favorite side-scroller Beat 'em up. Played through it with my room mate who never played it before so I could show him how awesome it is.

Megaman X1
Classic game. I still think it's the best Megaman/X game aside from the final final boss, whom I still I hate fighting to this day! The music in this game is as great as I remember it being, and Vile is still hardcore. It's a shame they turned him into a whiny teen in Maverick Hunter X though. :(

Got the Hadouken this run through!

Rockman X2
Harder than I remember. Except for the final final boss who is way, way too easy. Still a great game with some fun levels. Skipped the Shoryuken because the hell with that shit.

Go Go Ackman!
I never knew about this series until recent, Akira Toriyama game based off manga only released in Japan on the Super Famicom. Ackman is basically demon Trunks with a girl phobia. It's an okay platformer, and the last level need to be played perfectly to beat the boss. Would totally MUGENize Ackman if I ever decided to start a new project.

Rockman 7

Recently bulk ordered like 16 Super Famicom games from Japan because its like 1/4 the price to buying it's US counterpart. Rockman 7, X1, X2, and X3 were in that package (also picked up DBZ SB1-3 and Hyper Dimension, and some Go Go Ackman! among others)!

So basically Megaman 7 is awesome. It's a bit on the easy side but I always loved this game, my inability to read Japanese doesn't interfere with Megaman games, you can pretty much get the gist of what is going on. It blew my mind when I discovered Auto's shop by hitting select on the robot master select screen, and I still love the feature to this day.

And Turboman is still a bitch.

This was the last classic Megaman I remember enjoying fully, where MM8 left me confused an sad. :(

Also:
Pop'n Twinbee
I suck major ass at this game as I do all shmups. It is fun for a shmup, but I just can't pass the airship level, I get destroyed pretty bad.
