thanx guys, I'm still in a very early stage in this project still. (still trying to get the sprites just right b4 moving on to do more).

And I'm not sure how much time it takes me for each one, b/c i work on 1 for a little bit or for whatever time I have free. I have a job and school, so its just like bits and pieces at a time.

thanks man, yeah ill try that. The colors do look a tad bright compared to the originals. thanx  ;D

I'll also update when I have enough sprites to make an animated gif  --;

Hello, so I was playing on my hi-res mugen, and no matter weather a character from an older game is considered hi-res (such as sf, ds, kof ect..), there is still no way for them to look close to the standerds of real hi-def chars like from GG, and Sengoku Basara X. So I had an ideah to entirely re-do a ryu character, but in complete hi-res.

I've been scaling up old sfa3 sprites and re-doing them, kinda like pixel overs. here's just a little prevew:

Here is a sfa3 ryu sprite:

Here is the same sprite scalled up 2 GG char size:

And here is my version:

Here is a GG char, chipp, for comparison:

Basicly the goal here is to get all the sprites I need of ryu completly re-dun, then make the actual char. Im hoping on having this done within 2-3 months, but it's very hard to find the time since I have a job. So let me no what you guys think about this ideah, the project is still very young, and any one who wants to help with this just pm me.



Also, this is very hard to do sprites at this size. Ive done sfa3 and sf3 sized sprites b4, but sprites at this size feel more like pixel overs, wich is not my strong point at all. So if any1 can help with some criticism, i can take it.

Hey, watsup every1, New here  :sugoi: Not new 2 mugen tho  ;D I joined the forum to chat with other mugen creators and get some tips, looks like a cool place already.  8) I'm also curently working on making a hi-def ryu char, so I'll probably make a thread for that soon. see u all around  :D
