Lol, I really hope that's not the way anyone took it at all, All I meant is, I did use a warehouse when I first started out, and the fact everything was right there in the open made it easier, since I didn't know who ANY of the creators were at the time, I couldn't go visit a website of an author I didn't even know existed.

Again, sorry if I was stirring up mixed feelings and troubles, like I said I just recently got into Mugen and I think the whole concept behind it is interesting. I've even looked into the mugenguilds history some before posting, so it's not like I'm some random guy coming in starting trouble although I'm sure I look like a random idiot lol.

Really? Odd, I have no interest in a 'warehouse' just because like someone stated earlier, it's just someone gathering a bunch of characters lol, and I'm just curious as to why everyone seems to hate them so much. The Mugen community is amazing, like a whole new kind of deal to me, just tryin to get some background into it =p

Well, I see what you mean as far as a link database, which isn't a bad idea by all means.
However, some people do dislike the clicking of links and all. Personally, I found warehouses useful, it's where I downloaded my creations from, Images of all the creations one one screen normally, without having to click one one link and see only creations from that one author.

I would also hate if someone started a warehouse and altered the readmes and files so no one could find the actual author. I know how much time goes into these things lol.

Ja but any particular reason you dislike em? (Not trying to start a flame war between 'Omgz warehouserz sux" kinda thread, just sparked my curiosity.)

As stated ten times before, I recently got into Mugen, and I've scoured the internet far and wide, including these forums and others. I've noticed an extreme dislike of Mugen Warehouses though, and was wondering what someones take may be on it. (Not really interested in starting one up, Just a discussion =p).

I would understand totally if you're an author and someone took your creation and stuck it up on their website, no credit what-so ever to you for creating it, that would be frustrating. However I've seen a few give complete credit to the author and even link the authors website, and those sites have become handy to myself.

What's everyone elses taken on it?

Alright so I don't want to use the template with the new fighter factory? This is my first time tinkering with this stuff, I've heard the template can cause crashes and irreversible damage to your creation, and I certainly don't feel like going through that mess.

So what you're saying is Load kung fu man and just erase the sprite?

I believe this is the right area to post this,

if any of you even remember me posting a week ago introducing myself, I have just started using Mugen, and I love it. However, using Mugen is not creating characters, which is what I would love to do next. I'm sure as soon as you saw this thread, you went to google and typed in Fighter Factory tutorial, well I did that as well! Every youtube video, every text document (Been looking for three hours now) Has led me into one simple hole.

Step (1): Open Fighter Factory, go to File-Templates-Electbyte Template.

My issue is, in my Fighter Factory Ultimate (The only fighter Factory I could find) Does not have that template. I've looked to see if it's a downloadable template or what, but cannot find anything related to it.

Thanks to whoever read this and future thanks to whoever can point me in the right direction.

Hiya, I just started using Mugen about an hour ago, and decided I'd start reading up on how to use it. I found this amazing website of course by good ol Google, and am glad to be a part of the community. Hope to share with ya all soon.
